I can relate. I was down to 177 6 months ago and now just weighed in this morning at 222. I keep trying to eat healthy again, and keep failing. I know the negative consequences to not eating healthy but have difficulty maintaining the healthy eating.

Just remember your problems will be there whether or not you binge. You might as well make the right decision to eat healthy so you feel better and can cope with the problems better. If you binge your just adding another problem to deal with.

For me, mindless eating is when I am in a binge and just start grabbing food without thinking about it or planning.

I call it binging if I eat over 500 over and/or I feel like I lost control or had mindless eating.

How come every time I think I have binging more under control, I have another binge episode. The urge sometimes can just come out of nowhere. Me: 6 B: 3

I ended the day 250 calories over because my family went out to eat. I came home at 9 pm and instead of binging because I was over, I exercised instead! That was a victory for me today!

Me: 2 Binge: 2 I have been struggling the last few days. I think I’m eating too many carbs and not enough protein. Going to increase protein and see if it decreases my urges to binge.

Me 1 B 1 I had 10 days binge free and then binged tonight. I was not expecting it. I don’t know if it was triggered mostly by emotions or because I had too many carbs. It is probably a combination. Tomorrow is a new day.
