Definitely coffee! :p Then after my WO and shower I'll make an egg white spinach scramble topped with salsa with a piece of dry toast. Since I don't eat my breakfast until after my workout it comes more around lunch time.

Hi walkergirl 64! *waves* When I started out all I did was walk the first 6 months at a pace my body could handle along with my dietary changes and I dropped 48 pounds in the first 6 months. I did eventually reach a place where just walking wasn't enough and I plateaued. At that point I increased my walking speed and…

I eat them daily usually for lunch but then I eat a whole foods plantbased diet with no animal products or oils. So yummy! I eat them baked and totally plain though. So no added calories from the junk that most people add to them. I loved them before they were "trendy". ;)

I've worked for a homeopathic veterinarian and I saw some amazing things work for some animals and not for others. Personally I would not return to this "nutritionist". I would find a RD but then you'll get the "You must eat meat and drink milk and eat tons of cheese" POV. I'm not sure what dietary changes your family…

1 pound= 3500 calories I bet it's not actual fat gain but water weight. Give it a little more time.

Check out Jill McKeever on YouTube. Her channel is Simple Daily Recipes and she uses the InsantPot. You can make a million healthy things in it. HTH!

I have a coffee but I don't eat til about noon- one o'clock. I've been that way since my teens. Come to find out people call it "intermittent fasting" now. Who knew? LOL! It's just how my body works its best. This way my morning workout is in a fasted state. My lunch (my first meal) usually consists of brown rice/quinoa…

My goal is to have my body fat % lower than my muscle mass %. I've been working at it over 2 years now and I'm getting close but still not there. Thanks for the group invite Jon. :)

I log it because plain black coffee is 2 calories per cup (8oz). I log everything that goes in my mouth.

#2 Good job! :)

I had to stop using my FB Surge. It was wildly inaccurate and it's been replaced by FB twice. It now lays on my bedroom dresser unused. A complete waste of money. I track everything manually now and I've started losing again. I've been stuck in the same place and I think the FB played a part in that. Good luck figuring it…

You are not alone. My weight has been up, down, and all around since my teen years. I'm so over it too!

Be sure to eat above your BMR but below your TDEE. I am plantbased and this is what has worked for me. If I eat too little (under my BMR) then I stop losing anything. I didn't realize I was eating under my BMR until I started logging everything here on MFP. I ate when hungry and felt satiated so I was clueless. I have now…

Woohoo! Time to set that next goal. ;)

How do you feel about colonics? If you are a constipated person that might yield a few pounds difference. Are you prepping for a competition?

I have found that if I don't eat my calories (including my exercise cals) my weight loss stops completely. I'd just monitor things closely and switch things up if your weight loss stalls. Good luck! :)

I have found in order to stay on track I have to go to the gym and do cardio every single day. I add in weights 4 days a week but I always cardio, lift, and finish with more cardio on those days. I figure I've spent enough of my life sitting around so now its time to spend some good, quality time in the gym every day so I…

I follow a Whole Food Plant Based Diet. All I eat are carbs and plant based proteins and plant based fats. I made the switch 4Aug2014 and I am down 70 pounds with 7 to go. Sure, I could be further along but I fell off the rails a few times. Carbs and starches are what our brains run on. After omitting meat, eggs, and dairy…

Congratulations! Welcome to MFP. :) My baby days have past. My youngest is 15 yo now but just wanted to say breastfeeding will help and HELLO! :)
-
Welcome to MFP. I am new too. I'll send you a friend request and we can keep each other motivated. :)
-
I just figured it out myself. If you click on "Find Member" at the top of the community page you can type in the username of the person you'd like to send a request to. Then click "Send Request". I'll send you a request now. :)

I've lost 70 but will hit my "first # goal" in 7 more pounds. I'm not sure what my goal will be after that but I won't stop working out and tracking what I eat. Please add me. I have yet to figure out how to send a friend request. :)

Hi Melissa. Feel free to add me. I'm currently living in the Mid-West but I'm a Cali girl. :)

Thank you all so much for the encouragement and kind words. I'm so glad I found this community.
