You need to log at least 1000 calories each day to close out your diary on that particular day. Past logs do not affect closing your diary. Only the day you are currently on.
-
Nope. You can get all the vitamins and nutrients you need from many different sources. How you get them is up to you.

This guy is a *kitten* and you can do better. My boyfriend knows how much bigger I am than him, and he knows my goals to lose weight. When I am victorious, he celebrates with me. When I decided to lose weight he told me that the only way me losing weight would make me any more beautiful to him is if it would make me smile…

I mean, legally, yes. It depends on the maturity of both parties. If the 19 year old is immature, you probably shouldn't be grooming them. Otherwise, whatever, yeah.

Literally everything about my partner. I've never been someone that got that caught up in looks or behaviors. I had boyfriends when I was younger and I liked them but I wasn't crazy about anything in particular regarding them. My partner now, though? Obsessed. It freaks me out. Something about him makes me act like a 15…

I use corn starch. My skin is very sensitive and I will break out in hives and bleed all over if the wind blows north for more than an hour. Dusting myself down with corn starch helps me a bit.

Don't think about your goal weight. You'll just make yourself crazy. Set mini goals, and focus on reaching those. For me, it's every 10 pounds. If I lose 10 pounds once, I just have to do that again 9 more times. Then 8 more. Then 7 more. It's a lot less daunting than saying "I have to lose 100 pounds".

I log everything just because I like to know what I'm eating. If it's 0 calorie and you don't care about macros, it's all a matter of preference.

That would be because you are still dancing between the overweight and obese line. Being lighter than what you were doesn't make you perfect, it just makes you healthier than what you were. If you want the fat gone, you're going to have to lose a bit more and exercise. Laziness does not reap rewards. Toned bodies come to…

I have the Blaze, and so far it has been working great. I'm sorry you had a bad experience :(
-
Wow, my bad. Apparently I'm an ungrateful *kitten* for expressing a frustration I'm sure many of you could relate to at some point. I'm so glad you strangers on the internet know me well enough from one post to set me straight.

Yes, make things illegal because YOU can't handle yourself. That's not how this works. Drugs are banned because they are dangerous. Food is not inherently dangerous unless you get out of control. You can't just make things illegal as a crutch for yourself. It's something you need to work on.

To quote my partner when I began my weight loss journey, "I think you are perfect the way you are. The only way you losing weight will make you more beautiful to me is if it will make you smile more." That is how it should be. Your husband does not own your body and you need to do what is good for your happiness and…

If you only want to lose weight to have sex, just stop trying now. Give it up and don't bother. You're just going to give up once you find someone anyway, so why bother? You aren't doing this for you, so you're not going to keep it off.

Hitting a 20 lb total loss and fitting into size 20/18 jeans

What kind of question is this? That's like asking if it's really that important to know how to operate a car to get your drivers license. It's the ONLY thing that matters. Eat too much, you're not losing a dang thing.

I'm in. I'm just calorie counting and trying to work on rebuilding muscle mass so I can work out. I have a Fitbit Blaze. I love it because it looks like a watch, and not a sports tracker. It's comfortable and most of the time I forget I even have it on. I don't believe the Blaze has any new features over the Surge, it's just got a big screen and looks pretty. It syncs nicely with all my fitness apps (Fitstar/MFP/Fitbit…

Honestly? Be appreciative. He knows you like them and was trying to do something nice. It takes time for new habits to click, not only for you, but for the people around you. It's not your husband's fault you have trouble exerting self control. Thank him and do what you need to do to save your diet. Personally, I would use…

Keep trying and remember that your body will never be perfect. What it will be is stronger, healthier, and better than it ever could have been without the work.
-
Unless you are very heavy, it is unlikely. What you CAN do is make some serious progress that you otherwise wouldn't have in that time. I would strive for 5 lbs a month, and if you get more, celebrate.
-
I've been there! Ankle for me, though! Wheelchair for 4 months, cane and boot for another few. Legs are so horrifically weak, but getting stronger every day. Being disabled gave me such a great appreciation for what the body can do.

You're eating more than you think. I didn't THINK I ate much because I only ate one meal a day. That meal was usually large and accompanied by calorie dense grazing during the day. You are not an exception to how losing weight works.
