UPDATE: So I checked yesterday's log for the 3rd time today and it finally adjusted to what seems like a normal calorie adjustment. Now it says I have 732 calories adjusted from the exercise. So there must have been a delay or something wrong with the sync. 732 still sounds high to me but if it's correct then that's…

This was yesterdays

Here let me make this clear to every one lol. Thank you for all the replies. Total steps for the day was 8500 including stairs and bike riding. Does the heart rate add exercise calories?
-
To be clear I've said multiple times that I have already had 1200 calories logged. I ate 1200 and have 1400 calories remaining.
-
It says 1425 remaining. And I just started counting calories again after stopping for a few months during a big move. So It's too soon to see any results
-
Thank you everyone. I'm just going to ignore the haters and go for it!
-
Meaning I would skip meals because I was too busy going to school and work full time without a mode of transportation so I was always on the move. Walking every where and only having time for quick snacks.
-
I drink a gallon a day but I've always been a big water drinker. That's doesn't include tea or coffee. Drinking this much water really helps my skin and body stay hydrated and feeling good but has nothing to do with weight loss.
-
I very well could have. Each day I log until the evenings when I realize that there's no way I can stay within my goal and I kind of just give up. I'll even change my goal to maintenance when I know a certain food will make me go over my calories. I wish I didn't do that so I could see how much I'm over eating. It's a…

That's very true. And theres still a few months until summer !
-
For me it all started with a cheat day (for my birthday) and I allowed it to turn into an entire month. I'm thinking I need to get more strict with my diet until I learn better self control and correct portions! Especially for sweet processed foods!
-
What sucks is time that this past month I've gained 5 pounds from consistently eating over or not tracking calories. I feel horrible about it and want to get back on track but I also want to enjoy the time I get to spend with my family. Maybe I will just eat at maintenance until I get back.
-
Are you vegetarian? I'm not big on eating meat which makes me lean towards carbs.
-
I'll be getting an insane number of steps in which will be nice.
-
I don't think it's just a fluctuation because I have not been staying within my calorie goal. I am 5'2 lightly active and with a goal of 16 to 1800 calories after the calorie adjustment due to my activity. When I had a much lower goal it seemed like I did better at controlling what I ate.
-
Yes I think that might be my problem. I have been eating a lot of carbs and sweets.
-
I was 135 a few weeks ago and now I am 140. Each day the scale has steadily gone up.
-
Last week I ate an entire box of girl scout cookies. Even though I knew it was 180 calories for just two of them!!! Some weeks I do great staying in my calorie limit but other times I struggle with self control. I notice drinking water after a meal and giving it 30 minutes helps.
-
Yeah I understand. These past 2 weeks I have been over eating and I have gained. I just ate whenever I had a craving and didn't stop until I was sickly full! It's a new week so I'm trying to be positive and stick to my calories.
-
I am 5'2 and trying to lose 20 more lbs. I weigh 135 and I'd be happy at 115-120. Just curious what are your daily calories?
-
Thank you everyone one. This is very informative and I'm happy to know I am more active then I thought I was!
-
Yeah im looking for something to add to my oatmeal or yogurt. Even drink it if I have to, but I just need to get more protein. Going to buy some this weekend after some more research on what kind to get. Are there any bad side effects such as stomach issues?
-
Okay I found this page it looks very similar to yours I just don't know how to post the picture. I am using the app.
-
What are your maintenance calories? We're you losing .5lb every week or would it sometimes be less? I know that it's going to take patience but a year sounds like a long time. I do want to tone up as well but I imagined losing the last 15 in 4 to 5 months.
-
I mean they make sense but considering I sit all day long in the office and have my activity level set to lightly active it seems crazy I'm still getting a calorie adjustment from my steps.
-
I am 5'2 135 lbs and want to be 115-120. Already lost 15lbs about .5 a week.I could not find where you took the screen shot and I don't know how to post a picture but my home page says. 1600-1867+319(exercise)=62 remaining. That was yesterday.
-
I have 15 pounds to lose. I am 5'2 and 135lbs. I've already lost the first 15 in about 3 months but it was a lot easier to stick to my calorie goals in the begining. I'm recovering from foot surgery so maybe since I am more active now, it makes me more hungry?
-
I don't get good calorie burns from the bike either but I just log it since I do other things like strength training and elliptical but I do log those. So I log it for general exercise since I have no idea how much I burn while doing the other things. If I only work out on the bike and don't do strength training then I…
-
It says I burned about 2,000 calories in total.
-
It happens through out the day. I set my activity level to lightly active and I got 8000 steps today with a 300 calorie adjustments. It went from 1600 to 1900 which I'm still having a hard time believing. I log cycling only 30 minutes but really I am also doing a little strength training and walking on the treadmill with…
