I've been really tired of chicken and I eat in a cafeteria/dining facility so I don't have many options beside chicken and sandwich meat. Lately I've been eating a lot of carbs, fruit and veggies and occasionally Greek yogurt but other then that I don't really eat meat unless I go to a restaurant.

I have the flex 2. I'm recovering from a foot surgery from a few months ago and just started walking on the treadmill but the gym I go to has a track inside that is 10 laps for a mile, so I might be able to make that work. I would say 9pm is when my activity stops for the day.

I bought a bunch of girl scout cookies because you can only get them once a year! I have no problem not purchasing my trigger foods while I am at the store but now that I have these in my home, I am in trouble lol. Going to try to sell a couple boxes or just give them a way because it's too tempting having them in the…

Thank you :) That's what I'm thinking too. I hope next week will be better.

First it was my 21st birthday week which I was happy to celebrate, week after that it was PMS which made me crave chocolate and made me more hungry, and this week it's just mindless eating. I'm having a hard time getting back on track and I feel like I have to get my body used to calorie restricting all over again.

Yes and I have a close friend who loves to eat and is not worried about his weight at all. We are golfing this weekend and I'm already thinking of what I can or cannot eat because we are going to have breakfast before and lunch afterwards. Normally I'd just be excited to get out and golf.

I never starved myself and I have fasted before as a weight loss tool and it worked well for me. People save calories all the time so they can eat more later on. Girl scout cookies are about 1000 calories in a box and I ate the whole thing so it made me stressed because all week I have been over my calories by a couple…

When I was loosing steadily for a month I was at 1400 calories but since I started using my FitBit and having the calorie adjustments it's given me a lot more calories since I'm not as sedentary as I thought. It's been a couple weeks so I have no idea if I am actually losing eating this much. I hope so though!

Yes I've been eating very "clean" but I enjoy nutritious foods. But I go through phases of craving sweets ALL day long and that's what throws me off. Ill have a little fruit at each meal and If I want a sweet such as chocolate or ice cream I'll have one serving. But this past week I have been going over board. I do really…

I understand the concern but this is a learning process for me. Counting calories makes me think of food more often than if I wasn't counting calories because I have to think of every single thing I put in my mouth. I'm still getting used to the process and learning what my body needs.
-
I don't binge that often but when I do its triggered from stress. I also quit smoking about 6 months ago so instead of a cigarette I turn to food. I don't know about a disorder.

I never even knew that there was a stride length. How do you find out what you stride length is?

Thank you everyone !

My FitBit is telling me I need 1300 calories and MFP is telling me 1800.
-
Yes I have over ate all week and that's why I changed my goal from 1lb to .5lb and now it's telling me 1600 calories and I'm still getting an adjustment of 200 to 300 calories plus.
-
Yes I recently change my activity level from sedentary to lightly active with negative adjustments. It gave me 1600 calories and I already have a positive calorie adjustment of 200 calories!! I am so confused!
-
Wow I never knew that, that could definitely be a problem!
-
Thank you, I will give that a try! I'm not quite as active as you are, but I'm not sedentary like I thought I was. I tried eating 1200 to 1400 for a loss of 1lb a week but It was just not sustainable. So when I changed my goal to .5lbs a week, there was a huge calorie adjustment. Hopefully this will even things out!

This is from 7500 steps from my fit bit. I have mfp set to sedentary because my steps vary alot. Then I logged 30 minutes on stationary bike but didn't log any strength training I did.
-
This is so inspiring! I hope to be able to achieve this one day.

I felt a lot less bloated in the beginning as well. I think it was from the increase of water intake and I stopped eating until I felt "stuffed" and just satisfied. A few weeks later is when the pounds started to drop.
-
Today I am at 10,500 steps but only because I did some shopping and a lot of cleaning. It says I burned 1,785 calories today so far. During the week my steps are between 4,000 and 7,000. With total calories burned being around 1800.
-
I put sedentary because I work a desk job and pretty much sit all day long. I do exercise 3 to 5 days a week. Nothing crazy just some cycling and a little strength training. I don't feel like I work out hard enough to log the exercise.

This week I've been struggling too. For me it has been chocolate and salty foods I've been craving and I ate out a few times. I need to get back on track because I am so bloated and gained 4 pounds. Feeling horrible because I was doing so well before pms and now I really need to get back on track! I'm still learning how to…

When I skip breakfast I tend to not be as hungry at lunch. I was doing really well with the 16:8 for a few weeks but this week I have stopped doing it and I've been hungry all the time! I'm going to start fasting again. Breakfast for me tends to be sugary carbs any way and starting the day with sugar can make me crave it…

I struggle with emotional eating as well and I find keeping busy is what helps me most. When my mind is occupied and I'm doing some type of physical activity (hiking, window shopping, anything out doors) I rarely think about food unless I am ACTUALLY hungry. Staying inside, watching tv, and moping around are all things…
-
I've been doing the 16:8 for a few months now. It really helps curb my appetite and I seem to make better eating choices when I skip the sugary breakfast foods that I used to eat daily. Eating first thing in the morning makes me starving a few hours later. When I skip breakfast, I am less hungry and have more calories to…

Thank you for the birthday wishes and advice!

Yes I prefer wine and beer. My problem is that if I choose to drink that evening its never going to be just a couple drinks. It's usually much more and it always leads to bad food choices later to "absorb the alcohol."
