  • @carinamenina I'll be getting my masters in English and my teaching degree. It's an Urban teaching program at University of Colorado Denver. I should be done in a year in a half. The first semester is only one night class, but then the next semesters I'm in classes and teaching. I'm nervous for the whole thing.

  • @carinamenina I start grad school in the fall also. I'm a little nervous about keeping active when I have to start the internship also. That's not until January though.

  • It is currently snowing in CO right now also. :/ I'm so over snow. Kids are out of school next week for summer break, so super crazy that it's snowing. It was about 80 on Monday and will be again next week.

  • I'm hoping that my foot feels better when the challenge starts again. I've been extremely lazy hoping that would help it heal, but no luck yet. It's really a bummer. I do have a doctor's appointment next week though.

  • Challenge 3 The first four green things I ate this week were broccoli, kiwi, green beans, and celery. I've also had mixed greens in a salad, avocado, green peppers, and an apple.
  • Challenge 2 For this one I picked Randonnee on Reunion, 5k outside. The weather has been so nice here this week that it was great to get outside and enjoy it. I love my walks in the morning when the weather is nice.
  • Challenge 1 I choose the Sydney Bridge Climb from week 3. I picked this one because I have stairs in my house and it's pretty easy to just add a few more trips up and down to complete the challenge.

  • I'm so sore from yesterday's class. I also missed my water workout this morning because I had to take my daughter to physical therapy for her back. I'm just going to walk outside. It will probably be slow, but the minutes will count. It will also complete one of the challenges. Two greens done also, kiwi and broccoli.

  • @carinamenina You can ride the underground train with the kids, it’s free. Concourse B’s mezzanine has a small play area for kids and a toy store, Kazoo & Company. There is lots of shopping at the airport and art to look at. Several different restaurants also. Free Wi-Fi, so maybe they will settle down and watch a movie…
  • Team 1 outscored us on challenge points this week. That's going to be the difference. We got the same numbers for exercise minutes, but those challenges are super important.

  • Challenge 3 I left chocolate and baked sweets behind for the week. I then proceeded to think about them all week. I also feel like I just substituted salty things for the sweet things so I'm probably retaining some water. :/

  • I have noodle arms. Spent 2 hours in the pool and I'm feeling it. I've worked hard at the rec for two days. I think tomorrow will just be an easy walk for me.
