Respectfully, is there a possibility that you might be eating to compensate for something going on in your mind or life?? Some people binge eat during depression, or while angry, lonely, etc.... There is the conscious mind that sees what you're doing, and the unconscious mind that has its' own itinerary. Best wishes

Perhaps when you attend a social, you bring a plate of something "nutritionally relevant" to your lifestyle "for everyone".... allowing you to have a better choice of foods to offset what your family is providing? Best of both worlds, you still get some goodies, but you won't blow out your nutrition completely for the day.

Love my Garmin Vivoactive HR, only draw back was that the wrist HR was a little less reliable when I am weight lifting, purchased a chest strap HR monitor to match with my wrist unit and that problem is long gone.

Unfortunately, for your added weight, air isn't getting to areas of your skin (belly buttons, folds, under breasts, etc) and bacteria has probably taken hold. Bathe the area(s) with an antibacterial soap. Allow the areas to dry well before putting on clothing, and wear clothing that "breathes" lets air in. Some folks have…

Got "talked" into a 100 pushups a day challenge by some of my 20 something friends (I'm 55), got up to 30 per set, and was getting the 100 done per day for two weeks, and then an impingement in my shoulder sidetracked my progress..... My silly brain still thinks I'm 20 something too.. :/

Lately, I've been listening to Flo-Rida, all their tunage. Most of their "boppy" songs' bpm match my strides per minute on my Arc Trainer. High energy too for weight pulling and pushing! I just loaded all their songs into my MP3 player and hit random.

Me too! It is suggested to check it 2 - 3 times a day initially, to determine if there are patterns to note (for instance morning Hypertension). I just monitor for general health (border line hypertension in the past), so a nice little excel spread sheet and graph (with trendline) and I'm comfortable with my level of…

Any idea of your sodium intake?? Has been linked to hypertension... An "average" amount would be around 2300mg/day A Cardiac diet would probably be around 1300mg/day

In addition, consider a whey isolate, like Dymatize ISO-100, very little or no fat, lots of protein (approx 25g per scoop) and usually relatively low calorie too!! approx 100 cal per scoop.....

0% greek yogurt.... lots of protein no fat. add a little fruit to perk up the flavour. I have a 2% greek yogurt (coconut) 100g portion, daily as my "reward for "behaving"" :)

Hi, You don't mention how much you walk (distance x intensity) A walk around the block is better than not walking at all A kilometre walk in 12 minutes is better than a kilometre in 24 minutes An hour walk up hill is better than an hour walk on flat land and as mentioned before, all that walking will be negated if your…
