As an older consumer of these things, I am able to see around the nonsense, but it is so prevalent and a lot of these "fitness models" do look great so you can see why people would buy into their routines. There was a lot of "warm lemon water as soon as I get out of bed" this year, which sounds like it would taste like…

But what's the calorie difference? You don't drink all the oil you deep fried in.
-
I've gravitated towards quite a few. When I list them off it sounds like a silly amount but they're all sharing info from the same few sources - my Apple Watch and MFP. AW obviously tracks my activity and I input my food into MFP. My scale is also bluetooth so that is shared without me needing to be pecking away at an app.…

What's the difference in calories for say, french fries? I can't imagine it's massive. You have to use SOME oil right?
-
I have an app on my phone and watch that you can set to remind you at intervals. I try for 72oz a day, if you drink a lot of tea and other things through the day that might be a bit much but outside of my coffee in the morning I really only do water.

Search on Youtube and Pinterest, you'll see tons of variety really fast.

I've had an Instant Pot for about a year now, I use it a lot, probably 4-5 times a week. I use it for any meat or dish that would take more than 10-15 minutes on the stove top, so all stews, soups, chilis, roasts or braises. Lentil soup is a go-to: with red lentils it's under half an hour start to finish for a really well…

The workout will get pushed to MFP and be Apple data, but step adjustments are made on the MFP side yes.
-
There's a bug where adjustments get wiped if you log a workout. Are you super active outside your actual workouts? I eat all the workout cals and it seems to balance out any adjustment I am missing.
-
Are you starting and stopping workouts as you do them? It is not like Fitbit.
-
Yes! He has one "20 minute hotel room HIIT" that you can do without equipment in a little strip of room if that's all you have, that gives a great workout.
-
Even though some of the watches out there now are "waterproof" they may well advise to avoid hot water and soap and the like.
-
Kickstart it by eating everything in the cupboards that might interfere with your diet tomorrow.
-
I've used a clip Fitbit and Apple Watch and the Fitbit interface gave me way too many cals for each day. YMMV.
-
Kick start = just get started today.
-
I'm in maintenance now and eat all of my cals back. I like to eat fruit and yoghurt or cottage cheese with my coffee in the morning (or a small bagel or oatmeal if I am planning a harder workout) and then take a snack for after, usually a couple of cheese and prosciutto roll-ups, or a boiled egg.

What does MFP tell you to do with your calories, when you input all your info into the setup? Go with that. Also, organic food isn't any less calories than non organic and will make no difference to your weight loss. All the Pinterest and IG looking photos of "clean" and "healthy" foods are basically just fetish art, try…

Jules Gets Fit is a fun channel.

I'm going to branch out into new fun ways to work out. Gonna get me some splits first, and handstands, looking around for some adult gymnastics to do tumbling and junk.
-
Yes it will be super helpful!
-
Sounds pretty normal. If I take a couple of days and eat more "fun" salty and sugary foods, less of my veg and fibrous diet, the pounds go on the scale, but they come right off after a couple of more regular days.
-
Unfortunately if your own goals don't inspire you, motivation and discipline will be hard to come by. Those are things nobody can provide for you.
-
This so much is why I dislike the white lie or whatever isn't a polite "no." I have no interest in opening up a dialog about my choices in such situations. If "because I don't want to" isn't accepted, the other person is being rude imo. And that goes for a lot of areas in life.
-
Eat at maintenance for a week and reassess how you feel. Has your normal routine been a bit too lean, perhaps?
-
If you're hitting the gym each day and eating 1200 cals all in you're going to burn out real fast. As has been suggested, tell us your gym routine as those cal burns you posted (from the machines maybe?) are probably high and confirm if you are eating back any of those cals or not. I started at a slightly higher weight…

Sounds like some people would actually enjoy the extra audience for a while.

Also upvote for please wash your workout gear after each wear.

My go to for all wear lately is maidenform cotton boyshorts with the lace waist. I buy decent workout leggings (I don't mean $$ I just mean keep an eye on what you buy, I'm a TJ Maxx shopper myself) and have never had a problem with them being see through.
