  • The very tail end of your post is spot on. My Dr and dietician told me the exact same thing. He and she both came right out and told me don't blame the food, blame yourself. Quit eating so much of it. Portion control is key..... and movement.
  • And feel free to add me all! I am going to try as hard as i can. Might take me some effort on days but I can do this, we can do this!!!
  • I'm back after almost a year. My back got really bad and all I did was lay in bed pretty much. After going from 397 down to 349 back up to 382, enough is enough. I'm a getting back up and going. I am trying my hardest but some days just can't hardly get out of bed. Best of wishes to all!!!!!
  • I really hate to rehash an old subject but I am curious to. And I am real sorry. I hate necro posting. I have been logging for that night and If I go past midnight, I log all the drinks after midnight on the next day and boy have I learned beer is not good for ya.
  • Welcome! I have far more than 17 to go lol but hey I'll be on the journey as well. Best of wishes to you!
  • I know people get tired of hearing this, but switch out a meal (to some a snack) with something like a yogurt with Protein powder in it. I found once my protein intake went up, the weight started to come down. I was not as hungry all the time anymore. And on a side note, if you drink soda (pop what ever you prefer to call…
  • Hi enfolium. Your eating sounds like mine in it's own kind of way. I was never a breakfast eater and around lunch I would think about food and come dinner time, I was hungry. The issue was I was starving my self and my body started eating up my muscle mass. In the process, my glucose levels went real high for a long time…
  • I have a lot of people who do that to me. Ironically enough, the best and most awesome support I get are from my friends and acquaintances on the net that I know and speak to daily. It is hard to deal with at times. I just brush it off and keep on doing what I'm doing. One good example is when I see someone putting a big…
  • I am the same way. I come right out and tell my wife and daughter to please hide stuff when Im not looking. If it is sealed, I'm good but if it is open, good bye. And I won't even get in to the subject of baked goods. My daughter is a baker. It is sad I have to have her hide cookies and stuff. I am working on it and…
  • I just knocked out 45 g of protein at once eating one piece of meat. The drawback was the fat at 21g. Protein has been my struggle as well. I am finding the more of it I eat, the less cravings or hunger I have during the day. to OP, I hope you can figure out a way. it will help a lot.
  • Healthy eating is the key words here. I am a very big boy and in January this year I was 397 lbs and as of 4 days ago, I was 366. Problem is my eating was not healthy. My body started eating its own muscle mass and causing all kinds of issues. My sugars are out of control and Lucky me gets to start insulin tomorrow. I'll…
  • Op I am going through many of the same issues you described. I just posted my story. I wish you well and a very safe journey to health!
