Thanks to all who offered actual suggestions. I've been every size from 0 to 14 in my adult life, and know from experience that the middle sizes are harder to fit than people seem to think. Just because a store sells a size 8/10 version of their items does not mean it's flattering.
So far today, I've had coffee with 1 tsp of sugar and 1 tbsp half-and-half, 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of whole wheat toast, followed by a snack of black tea and 2 cookies (90 calorie Graze snack). It's time for lunch and I think I'd stab someone for a bagel or pastry.
I am 5'2" and successfully lost about a pound a week eating 1320/day in the past. Unfortunately, I did not maintain that loss. I am back (as of today) and plan to try 1400. If any other short ladies are looking for MFP friends, please add me.
