@Kirstie155 I'm with you, April was not kind! Hopefully May will be the fresh start we need. @VeryKatie so good to hear you aren't too worried about weight, I'm sure you are right where you need to be and most new mums would be the biggest they have ever been- you are supposed to put on quite a bit. Enjoy the last few…

That's so frustrating @Kirstie155, why something that is clinically warranted is denied baffles me. Totally agree, another vote for TTC! ;)
-
Thanks @VeryKatie great timing I was just thinking how I need to up my exercise game, have dropped off! You must have sensed my inactivity from across the pacific  Hope you're feeling well and enjoying the last month or so before your little one joins you!

@jennamae102 I found smoothies were a good way to get fruit/veg in during 1st trimester (green based one's were good), I had one most days. Wouldn't say I loved them but found them do-able, but everyone is different so maybe you won't be able to tolerate them- just an idea!
-
@jennamae102 how wonderful you got to see your little duck! There's nothing like it, and I totally get the relief feeling, that was definitely my major emotion. For some reason I was convinced there would be an empty screen for my daughter, I was so shocked when I saw her and heard the heartbeat it was an amazing feeling.…

@marianlyn so sorry to hear that, I can't comprehend what you have been through but what amazing strength you must have, although I can imagine it's a bit of a sink or swim situation? Great work getting healthy, it can only be a positive. So glad you feel comfortable sharing here :) Wishing you all the best with TTC!
-
Hope you get some relief soon @Kirstie155. Hmmm...minuscule chances can happen @marianlyn, although if wanted to start in May hopefully it's not too much of a shock if you are! We started this month, currently a few DPO so the waiting game begins...

Soooo hard not to test isn't it! This is our first month trying again, haven't ovulated yet so awhile to go but I'm already anticipating the multiple deals I will make with myself not to test, and then inevitably break them  @samlovesthesnow @Kirstie155 have you bought some bulk buy cheapies online? For my first…
-
Still on a downward trend @samlovesthesnow, and maybe some muscle gain with extra exercise? Keep it up!
-
Thanks @Kristie155 :) just frustrating as I had this "non-negotiable" goal before TTC but it seems silly to hold off a for a few pounds (only 5 away). Just going to work as hard as I can for the next few weeks before the waiting game begins, and need to get back on the spreadsheet although it kills me to only have 1/2 the…
-
That's great news @katycapp!! How exciting! Keeping everything crossed for you. We are starting to try this month (just finished my period), I'm really nervous this time around! Maybe because things have been weird during my cycles lately, lots of spotting around day 9/10 so a few days after my period is over...never…

Not a great month for me, we have been away and I stacked on the pounds, have been spending all week trying to get them off! Nearly there but still 1lb up from the start of the month  @VeryKatie try not to put too much emphasis on the number on the scale, as long as you are eating enough and not going hungry I'm…
-
Hahaha 2068!! Love that is it even bothers to tell you that lol. @jennamae102 it does feel weird, I remember feeling like I was hungover every day! It definitely passes, I felt amazing by 14/15 weeks- I think even better than compared when I wasn't pregnant because I was eating so well and not drinking alcohol.
-
Gorgeous bump pics @VeryKatie, you look stunning!! Don't worry about the nursery, I'm sure as you get further along the nesting will kick in! So exciting, hope you're enjoying it all
-
@Kirstie155 that's so rough, so much to deal with all at once no wonder you are feeling overwhelmed! Your MIL is lucky have you, but yes it can be hard work coordinating their lives for them and being a constant support. So lovely hear you and your husband are banding together and supporting each other, must nice to have a…

Wow huge day @WifiresGettingFit!!! I find the hardest target is the 250 hour with my desk job, time flies when you're under the pump. Having said that it is exactly why I got a Fitbit so it would remind me to move...work in progress
-
I think they say you don't need to gain any weight in the first trimester (or only a little?), so maintenance sounds about right @jennamae102. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, it's been awhile! I can imagine it would be a huge change, try and enjoy it whilst the rest of us try and squeeze every last ounce out of our…

Thanks @VeryKatie!
-
@VeryKatie what is the app you use again for weight trends? Sorry I know you posted it somewhere, just can't find it
-
Welcome back @VeryKatie! Thanks for putting up the April sheet, I'm pumped! The eating thing can be so stressful can't it? There are risks any time you put something in your mouth (as in unless you grow it in the ground we don't 100% know if it's safe, although almost always is) so try not to worry too much, think about…

Well done everyone! Some great numbers , but also just being part of this and tracking consistently always pays off in the end- bring on next month! I am feeling like I had a B+ month, logged my food almost daily, exercised more than I have since my daughter was born, and finally starting to feel in the zone. Lost 5.5lb's…
-
Oh wow congrats at @jennamae102!!! What a wonderful surprise! Totally get the planning thing, I'm an obsessive planner so can only imagine what it's like when that is your profession (maybe I need a career change haha). You will definitely adjust, just start a new plan to help calm you down! Enjoy this exciting time, and…
-
Oh and great idea working in treats into your calorie goal, I'm trying to do the same thing. Moderation has never been my strong suit, and it's held me back from sustained weight loss in the past (classic yo-yo'er here) so definitely something I'm trying to change permanently. Love you have had such a great month doing…
-
Wow that an incredible month @samlovesthesnow! So looks like you have smashed your goal? Congrats!
-
Amazing effort @jennamae102!! To be the lightest you have been in 10 years is a huge achievement, you must feel great? Despite now not having enough time to reach my goal for March (still 4lb's away), I probably set an unrealistic one with two scheduled two trips away- I've still lost almost 4lb and have finally started…
-
There's nothing wrong with being an idealist @pezhead :) I had an early Dec baby and was grateful to be at the start of summer (Australia) rather than the end, the weather was beautiful and I felt great in the lead up. It's great you are already a healthy BMI and sounds like you're pretty fit (even if not at your max…
-
Totally fine @VeryKatie! Enjoy the holiday ☺️
-
You seem pretty driven and on track @jennamae102, I'm sure you will smash that goal!
-
So undecided @girlalmighty08! I had a non-negotiable goal of getting under pre-pregnancy weight from my first baby (now 16 months) and I am literally only 1lb away, but I started the pregnancy still overweight (206lb) so I am still not at goal which is around 175lb (I'm tall). Ideally would love to lose another 8-10 before…
-
Never too late @girlalmighty08 :). Trips away are so hard @krizaten33! I can't get out of the relax mentality in regards to food, and find it really hard to count calories when you're trying to be social. If anyone has the secret please share!
