  • Thanks @MelanieCN77, good to know about the workout function- will make sure I start/stop. Yes just need to adjust thinking regarding what the Apple Watch offers, hopefully I can get what I need from it :) @MegaMooseEsq thanks that’s helpful. Just to clarify, in those instances when you need to delete the workout to get…
  • He is divine @4legsRbetterthan2!! Congratulations! ❤️
  • Sounds like you body is trying to tell you to slow down, totally normal for pregnancy. Incline walking sounds like a great idea. Plus running past first trimester can put a lot of strain on your pelvic floor as the baby grows...something to keep in mind!

  • I'm all ears too! I'm 11 up at 17 weeks weeks so on a similar trajectory. Curious if anyone has safely slowed things down?
  • Sorry have been seriously awol! Just crazy work and sick for a few weeks with a flu-type virus...anyway no real excuses but it has been so lovely reading back over your posts from the past month - lots happening! @krizaten33 so sorry for you loss, absolutely heartbreaking. Look after yourself x

  • So comforting to read I am not the only one, thanks for sharing everyone! I am up 9lb at 14.5 weeks, and as I started with a BMI of 29 it's way over where I should be at this stage. I also went carb crazy in first trimester (and lots of them!) to stave away nausea, and now I'm in a habit of eating junk and not working out…
  • Late to the party, but I'm due Jan 17th with bub no.2. After a super healthy and fit 1st pregnancy, I've really struggled this time around. I haven't been very active and have already gained 9lb, last time I gained a total of 18lb so at 14.5 weeks I'm well over my target of 18-20lb :( Time to reign it in! Goals are 10k…
  • I posted the exact same thing 6 weeks ago, at 5 weeks I felt like TDEE was huge but I definitely got there! Nausea kicked in for me at 6 weeks and I found eating was the only thing that settled it, and I've definitely been eating TDEE or above since then. I'd say eat until your satisfied for now, and give it a week or two…
  • Congratulations @VeryKatie!!! Oh my gosh he is so very precious! So glad you are enjoying him, such a special time. Loved your story, thanks for sharing it's got me excited again! Look after yourself xx
  • Oh wow congratulations @krizaten33!!!
  • Oh good pickup @Kirstie155!! I wonder...!?
  • Late to the June party but better late than never right!? Popped my goals up a week ago but got a fresh run of morning sickness so put my head in the sand again. Felt slightly better today and really need make an effort to focus on better nutrition...I've been terrible this time! I've out on 4lb at 10 weeks (my tactic was…
  • Great news Katie!!
  • Welcome @Alioth! They seem like pretty achievable goals which is great, good luck!! June Goals: - Start counting calories again - Reintroduce healthy food including green smoothies (if morning sickness passes...please!) - Maintain weight - Hit 10k steps 5/7 days, gym classes a bonus - Do pelvic floor exercises 3x daily The…
  • Oh my gosh congratulations @marianlyn!!! After avoiding MFP like the plague for the past week (counting calories was the last thing on my mind...) it was so nice to log back on and see such wonderful news! Hope you're feeling ok so far? I've been really struggling this time, feel awful most days and just not enjoying life…
  • So tricky with the dog @jennamae102, you never know you might get enough warning and have time to drop her at doggy day care :), otherwise you could always say you're not sure if you are in labour but might have to stay overnight for observation? Might buy you some time? Well 1st trimester is kicking my *kitten*, I don't…

  • How great that you are at maintenance @pezhed! It feels so far away and almost unachievable for me, so I'm always impressed when someone gets there. Enjoy eating a bit more and focusing on recomp, I'm sure it will be super satisfying to see your body change, and perfect timing before TTC.

  • As if you could have any more bad luck @Kirstie155! That is such a crappy thing to happen!! Do you have insurance? Sending you lots of hugs xx

  • Hi ladies, I have a few entries in my spreadsheet that aren't mine, wondering if anyone has been entering in the wrong box? Not a problem, just don't want to delete them if they need to be moved somewhere else. I had a few days off tracking between 10th-13th (and was definitely eating more than what is inside my boxes!) if…
  • Haha you can't get away with anything on these forums, everything is in writing!
  • Thanks @VeryKatie, I totally agree with the TDEE- the only reason I blamed my metabolism was because in the past if I had a week eating like I did I definitely wouldn't have lost weight, but I'm sure there are other ways ways to explain that. Prior to pregnant I was using the MFP sedentary setting for weight loss, and it…

  • It's really hard to switch from weight loss to maintenance/gain in the space of 1-2 weeks, my body just isn't used to it!

  • Thanks lovely ladies! Haha @VeryKatie totally get that!! One question I have (again my memory is shocking from first time around)...despite eating every 3-4 hours until I'm full, I feel like my metabolism has ramped up because I've lost another 1-2lb this week and haven't really been calorie counting. I'm eating way more…

  • It's always scary when they move less, I think it happens more frequently from memory as they run out of room. So good to get checked though, hope you can relax a bit now :) I'm 4.5/5 weeks so would love to join this lovely thread officially! Still doesn't feel real...

  • So sorry to hear that Sarah, what an unfortunate turn in events. Hoping you get an amazing full-time job that you love in no time. Try not to worry too much about timeframes with TTC, you might find circumstances change and you can start trying earlier. Hope to see you back here soon :) xx

  • You're at goal already? That's amazing @samlovesthesnow!!! Maintaining the loss is great goal for the rest of the month, I'm sure all the training will help with that.
  • Wohooo! Fingers crossed you get one ASAP @kirstie155. That's interesting about the gas, its standard practice here in Aus so I'm surprised it's not the same in the US. I've heard it's not even that helpful, that even though you are spaced out you still feel the full brunt of labour? Sounds horrible to me!
  • Fingers crossed for everyone trying! Poor hubby @Kirstie155 :( Often partners do know what's best, and if it was to be your month it could be the positive news he needs? Maybe just "try" but very low key and relaxed? I'm 6/7DPO and playing the waiting game...feeing pretty relaxed but I think I'm just trying to fool myself…
