  • Cool! I ordered the mini in the green, sure to,stand out that way haha. I also don’t have unlimited- we have a family plan with roll over and never have had an issue. Though my son would beg to differ. I listen to most my music off line, so it works out for me.
  • Yes 20% off! Until June 21st!
  • Wait what!? Running with ice cream? Oh yeah, not sure I could manage but I would love to! Ugh @rheddmobile sux for sure. Case spiking here as well, and yeah not many are wearing masks out and about. Sigh Hal is a monster! Lol. Just kidding. Might have tor try the app and see what he says about me. @skippygirlsmom nice…
  • @Avidkeo @ContraryMaryMary That would anger me as well. I just don't understand people sometimes. Same with you @kgirlhart -It amazes me the lack of respect and lack of intelligence. Here in NC we are also trending upwards, and we have the same sort of issues as you do. Hope your ankle is ok. @janejellyroll A virtual…
  • Well done! This post had me in giggles. I truly feel like this a lot of the time! Thanks for posting the infamous driveway pics. Now I can understand! Great running!
  • Happy Birthdyay, @rheddmobile ! 10 miles today, featuring my new vest. Figured out the best place for the hose which was great. I must admit it did feel heavy, To start but was glad to have it. I’m pretty sure I will get used to it. Loved being able to sip water as I ran! That alone is worth it. The temps were good..70…
  • Yes I’m pretty happy with it, but I will know more on my long run outside on Saturday!
  • Ok I’ll try that with the hose again. I’m sure it will just be trial and error until I find something that works, thanks!
  • @quilteryoyo @janejellyroll @Camaramandy648 Yes! I feel like I’m doing so well, and then I look at the garmin and it tells me uh I don’t think so. Ugh. I do like to bike ride. But yeah the super fast downhills and corners not so much. I used to love spin classes, I can’t fall over then. Lol. Have seriously thought about…
  • @shanaber @Avidkeo @Camaramandy648 @janejellyroll @eleanorhawkins @PastorVincent @skippygirlsmom @Teresa502 Thanks for the tips and advice on the vest. I may actually give it a try tomorrow on my run just to see...I'll keep you posted!
  • In the pic I had taken my tank off after the run as I was at the beach, and just went in the water! I usually have a tank or tee on around here. I will watch for that as well. Thanks!
  • You do have a lot going on. Lots of hugs
  • Hoping for the best!
  • Sorry to hear. Frustrating for sure. Hope it heals with the extra week
  • That makes sense. It comes in Wednesday, so I’ll give it a try on my long run on the weekend.
  • 10k humid run today. I tried to push the pace a litte, and didn’t do so bad. But clearly felt harder than normal. And the effort was there but the pace not so much. Everything @PastorVincent has posted about heat running is so true. Oh, and ordered Nathan running vest. Was on sale and had reward points. Hopefully it fits…
  • @marisap2010 Thank you! And nice swag. I thought about doing that one! I did sign up for the Run Solo aka star wars May 4th and Mothers Day Tough as Mother. Did those and the medals were cool! I agree with these helping staying motivated. @scott6255 @Tramboman Thanks! And wow congrats to you and your wife! Slept in late…
  • @PastorVincent @quilteryoyo @katharmonic @rheddmobile @kgirlhart Thank you for the wishes! It was a great dinner. They checked us in outside , took temps, and then seated us. You really could tell people were spread out. All the staff had masks, and gloves. Menus were disposable. Salt, pepper and other condiments were all…
  • @Avidkeo Sorry about your husband but glad he’s home. Hopefully the antibiotics kick in soon. 9.3 (15k) hot miles today. It wasn’t too bad as I decided that since I’m not really training for anything quite yet, and it’s hot, and I didn’t feel like getting up super early, that I would take as many breaks as needed. Which I…
  • @rheddmobile I feel you. Hang in there, it’s tough for sure. The heat is crazy. Rest day today, did a BodyBoss workout at home. Hoping to get. A long run in this weekend. Will have to go early early.
  • @quilteryoyo great running in the heat! @shanaber good news on the trekz. I’ve been eyeing them as well...really need to get to Fleet Feet, lol! On getting up early - only to run or to catch a flight - though I try very hard to not book early morning flights. I’m not a morning person so get it up early to run is huge for…
  • For global running day, I ran 6.4. It was warm, and I went easy as I could. Sometimes it’s harder going slower. But I could tell that it was a good idea as my heart rate was higher at that pace. @quilteryoyo Great news about dad. I know too well these stress tests! @pfprimo good running ! That is my 5K goal..28 min or…
  • I couldn’t possibly keep up today! Very chatty today. Work is absolutely insane right now, so no time during the day. I did the first run of June. 5.2 miles. Was not bad, weather was nice, probably the last nice day as it only get hotter from here on out. Must start gettin up earlier now. Ugh. I’m kind of tired today so…
  • Beautiful day here. Going for a walk in a few. Summer is here already going to be in 90’s this week. I love the hot weather. But not for running lol. @Camaramandy648 Wonderful news! Hopefully you can go run and celebrate @mbaker566 Always wear hat - to keep sun out, sweat out, hair out of my face and rain when it does. I…
  • @kgirlhart So sorry to hear about your aunt. Much love.
  • @katharmonic @ContraryMaryMary Great runnning! So today’s long run ended up being HM! Weather was nice enough, and I felt ok, so I decided to go for it since I’m not sure when we will have weather like this with low humidity. I also told myself that I did t have to “race” it and just go easy. At about mile 9 I started…
  • @quilteryoyo so sorry you had to experience that. It had to have been scary and heartbreaking. I’m glad your dad is alright, but good you had the courage to have the convo. Hugs.
  • @Camaramandy648 Biggest hugs to you and your son. Wishing the best news in Sunday. @shanaber @skippygirlsmom I find it fascinating as well, especially that I ca run like I do. Though I suspect this why my heart rates are higher at exercise. And why I probably will never be much faster than I am now. A little maybe but not…
  • They initially thought about doing bypass again, but I was only 32 at the time, and had just had surgery. So, they tried this and left that one blocked. I had to have quarterly stress tests for years to make sure all was good though. Now I have one once a year. Is your dad ok now?
  • Yes this. I had a triple bypass and then within 9 months, the bypass they had created on all 3 spots were covered overt by healing scar tissue. So basically I was back at square one. To avoid having open heart surgery again, they did angioplasty and stent on two, but the main RCA they could not get to. So ever since then…
