I had to up my carbs due to my dry eyes. I had no idea that low carb would cause that! Next week, I will start back on low carbs with a weekly moderate carb day. I am really enjoying learning about how the body processes nutrients. Keto is such a great tool for a healthy lifestyle.

I did not get to weigh today. I have a cold, and have not been able to eat much these past few days. The last time I weighed, I was 13 pounds down for the month and had lost 4% body fat. Even with this cold, I have not craved junk food... which is amazing! I have always been a comfort eater, so the keto WOE has truly…

First time that I went way over my carbs. Starting to feel sick, so I drank an Emergen-C per normal....it has 9 carbs! Headed to the doctor today, I hope prescription medicine will have less carbs!

Finally got past my plateau! I read that too much coconut oil and milk can cause you to stall, so I added more olive oil and duck fat. I also increase my fat macro to 70% and my caloric intake. The Keto WOE keeps me so full that I am usually way under my calorie goal. If any of you are struggling with a stall, I hope my…

My Goal was to lose 10 pounds this month, and I have exceeded that. I have stalled, now. Part of that could be my hormones this week. I want to keep my Average Weekly Macros at: 10% Carbs (max) 30% Protein (max) 60% Fat (min) I need to workout three times this week... this is my struggle! Hope you all have a great week!

Average Weekly Macros: 13% Carbs (10% Goal) 56% Fat (60% Goal) 32% Protein (30% Goal) -5.4 lbs and -1.4% BF for the week. -10.8 lbs and -3.0% BF for November! I ended up having two 22 hour fasts this week without any real effort. Overall happy with my results, but could have done better with my macros. Hope you all have…

It went well. Thank you! I ended up doing a 22 hour fast that day. I wasn't hungry or tempted to eat any of the junk. Hope you have had a successful week!

I am on day seven, and my energy is amazing! I have already lost over 5 lbs, 1.5% bf, and 1.75 inches from my waist (I know, I know... water weight). The mental clarity is astounding! I feel like I might fully recover my brain function (it has felt diminished since my nervous breakdown five years ago).

I found out when I was 15 that I was allergic to dairy. I remember that transiting to a dairy free diet was hard it the time (cravings and dreams), but I lost 30 pounds the first month. It was so nice not to be swollen all the time. I notice a big difference in how I feel when I eat gluten. I have not been diagnosed, but I…

Congrats on making a decision to be healthier! I just started Keto on the first. I researched it months prior to starting. There are several subreddits dedicated to it, and I have found them to be very helpful.

I just started on the first! There are several Keto subreddits that have been helpful for me. MFP is great for macros. I doubt I would have made it to day three without it!
