Last year, I started losing weight just by changing my diet. I lost 50 lbs that way. I took a break from dieting and now I'm back. During that break I gained back 15 though, so not changing activity level is a problem for maintaining after a loss, for me anyway

I know it sucks to set a goal and not get there, but if you've stalled, that might be your body telling you to take a break. cutting calories just for the sake of getting to a specific number may do more harm than good especially if you want to put yourself through a marathon.

My right now is pretty much where you described the middle of your journey so far. I too dont feel like I'll ever see under 150 so that's my goal. I'm so glad to see you were able to do it and definitely motivating for me to get there too. Thank you for sharing!!

Look at why you are having trouble staying under your calorie goal. Is it because its unrealistically low? Is it because you're always still hungry? Is it splurges on "treat" food? If we can figure out the reason you can tackle it.
