Today was the first time my macros worked out almost perfect. I do try but it's taking time to get them proportioned properly. Trying to stay away from the scale, can say my body feels better.

I had a good day, yesterday I was so hungry, I ended up eating beyond my usual protein but I'm just not going to sweat it. I kept my carbs under 20 and that's what counts. Today I was back to not very hungry which ended up to be good since I didn't get home until 7:30. It's a bit late in the day for me to be eating…

Another great day. I finally bought some low salt and am sending off for some magnesium. Also got the ingredients to make myself some keto bbq sauce. I'm all prepped for tomorrow at work and looking forward to another day on plan. This morning my BS had finally gone down by a full point. I was stoked!

Another good day for me. My work has me gone away from home for 36 hours at a time and occaisionally more but I weighed everything, packed it all along and only forgot bouillon. I will just make a couple of salt shots until I get home tomorrow evening. I really felt I'd stumble planning for longer trips away from home. I'm…

I understood epsom salt causes diarrhea? My dad used to use it for constipation like 40 years ago.

That's a very reasonable sized study. The deck is so stacked nutrition wise.

Congratulations, what an amazing job!

These pie charts are definitely better and need to listen to the full video when I get home from work. The new pie charts reallt help to get the hang of this.

It does help thanks for taking so much time. Fat loss is important to me. There is this very happy idea that I won't be fat anymore, but the more sober idea for me is getting healthy. I want to see my diabetes controlled and I want to be able to walk like a normal person without a lot of pain. I'm upping my protein and my…

My heart fell when you said there's carbs in sugar free gum, I hadn't read the label. Thankfully mine has only 1 gram of carbs per slice, so I can have 1-2 a day without any problems. I have really dry mouth from diabetes so my breath can be a problem. Hoping that clears up the longer I'm on this WOE.

I'll join in, yesterday I was all foggy from lack of sodium. Today started my day with a 1500mcg of sodium laced broth. So, far, I haven't been really tested. I'm sure that's going to come eventually but I hope that I'll be well enough in before that happens. My diabetes scares me, scares me to the point I don't even want…

A couple of weeks ago before I started keto I was speaking to my partner about why I wanted to do this and one of the reasons I gave was that I felt addicted to carbs. I've known for a long time that I'm addicted, what I didn't know was that I don't actually need carbs to survive. This untruth is the heart of resistance to…

Alright, point understood.

I just went and looked and it says daily. I think I've figured out why it looks different, I hadn't really read it properly. There are two pie charts, I assume the first one was a template to show you how you're pie chart is supposed to look and the second how yours actually works. Wrong. My first pie chart that shows…

I'll up the salt, I plan to buy myself some dill pickles tomorrow.

I'm 5'7 and I weigh 234lbs. I'd like to lose 90-100 lbs but mostly I want to control my blood sugar. I have had surgery on my knee and both of them are quite painful so at this point I'm sedentary and really hoping to change that.

I read the whole thing and all I can say is I feel relieved. There is a crazy train for every diet because I've met them. For years I've listened to people say "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" and have thought that's ridiculous. It never worked for me, as soon as I put food in my mouth I craved more food.…

April 1st SW 245 lbs I was dieting prior to starting keto a week ago and lost a few lbs. In the past week I've lost 5 lbs. I now weigh 234 lbs for a total of 11 pounds lost. YAY! My goal weight is 145lbs.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Take care of yourself the best you can during your time of grief.

Thank you, I have been going thru the stickies today. Picking and choosing though eventually I'll read them all. What a great place! I haven't been here long but i love it here.

Oh sorry, I must have been looking in the wrong place. Thanks!

Hello, I'm a 53 year old who is morbidly obese (145 lbs) and type 2 diabetes. I have two wonderful sons in their thirties. I enjoy video games, reading, and the odd Netflix binge watch. I quit smoking 11 months ago by vaping. I never thought I could quit having tried and failed so many different things and times. I don't…

I gag on egg whites. Just can't eat them. I like the yolks but always had those on toast with butter so they're out. I've always wished I liked eggs. Just a no go.

I wish you all the best of luck. Exercise is not the be all end all of dieting. Don't let not being able to move too much get you down. Your life and your health matter and as you're here you know that too. :)

Thanks everyone!! and thanks KP I'll be looking at them. :)
