I'm 46 at 4'10" and 128. I need to lose 25 lbs so I COMPLETELY understand your struggle! But as you can see, you're not alone. Stay positive and you will lose the weight. We all know how, it's just a matter of perseverance and knowing that WEIGHT LOSS = 80% Diet + 20% Exercise. Sending you a friend request. :)

Hi there. You can do it! It's all in the mind. Free your mind of any negative thoughts and begin a LIFESTYLE CHANGE. Eat clean: fruits, veggies, almonds walnuts, salmon, lean chicken breasts, etc.; drink plenty of water, 3 cups of green tea a day & have 1 cup of hot water with lemon in the morning as well; and exercise.…

Don't look at your healthy fitness journey as a diet but rather as a LIFESTYLE CHANGE. Simply eat cleaner (no processed foods), drink plenty of water, and exercise. Also, drinking hot water with a fresh squeezed lemon and green tea are miracle elixirs! YOU CAN DO IT! :)

LOL!!! That's a good one. :D Thanks for the welcome and a happy journey on your LIFESTYLE CHANGE. :)

Hi Stephanie. I sent you a friend request. Like you, I've always been petite (between 107 & 112 lbs) until about 4+ years ago. Stress, making poor meal choices, and lack of exercise caused me to balloon out of control!!! I still hate looking at myself in the mirror but it motivates me to eat CLEAN and exercise regularly so…

Hi Bayly, I am a living witness when it comes to the 80/20 Fitness Rule!!! 80% Diet + 20% Exercise = Weight Loss. I am a living reality of this statistic. We have a tendency to think that we need to work out harder, faster, and often. This is only somewhat true. However, clean, healthy, and a balanced eating habits can…

Thank you so very much for the most informative advice! I've started to incorporate more weights into my regiment. I do 60 minutes of cardio 6 days a week and my diet is 40 carbs, 40 protein, 30 fats.

I actually have my Nordic Mini Stepper sitting next to my couch and use it in 30 minute intervals as I watch tv. I rest about 15 minutes between each interval. Often I'll go for 60 minutes then rest. I use the resistant bands that come with it and also separate hand weights to slim my arms and build muscle....all while…

I'm 46 and understand "duncan04" completely. But what I've learned to do during my LIFESTYLE CHANGE is to make those brief moments work during the day. I take the stairs instead of the elevators at work. I make smart and healthy choices for my meals and snacks. I drink water and green and oolong tea throughout the day. I…

What motivates me is seeing my clothes fit looser. Watching myself go from a size 8 to a size 6. Observing the change in my face as my double chin disappears and my jawline becomes more pronounced. To see my arms and thighs slim down in size. This is what TRULY motivates me. It's a slow and long process but well worth it!…
