OH! And lower your carbs to anywhere from 20-50g per day.

Try to consume less carbs while increasing your protein consumption. A higher protein intake boots your metabolic rate, which can increase the number of calories you burn by 80-100 calories every day‼️😁👍🏾

I too do 16:8 IF. I’ve lost 22 lbs since 11/26/2018 and IF has helped me to understand that I should eat to live and NOT live to eat. I should be able to lose the remaining 10 lbs by 2/14. 😊

He is 6'5 and 260 (according to Google search results), which is a BMI of 30.8. That's *barely* obese (the cutoff is 30).[/quote] Gotcha!

All of you guys ROCK‼️👊🏾 I’ve been reading the entire debate and you all having provided me with an abundance of information. What a few have said is that the BMI doesn’t take into account MUSCLE. So I guess someone like The Rock would be considered morbidly obese which is insane.

I agree. It is THE BEST way to lose weight! You could conceivably lose a pound a week if you decrease your calorie intake by 500 per day since approximately 3,500 calories equate to 1 pound of fat. It’s worked for me!

The information that you all have been posting is extremely useful. I’ve been sooooo obsessed with lowering my BMI that at one time, I was only consuming 438 calories per day in order to quickly lower my BMI from “27.59 kg/m2 (Overweight)” to what it is now at “23.45 kg/m2 (Normal)”. My highest BMI has been “30.51 kg/m2…

Purchase a home mini stepper. I have one and I’ve placed it between the kitchen and living room where I can watch the tv. It’s inexpensive, doesn’t take up room, and extremely useful in burning calories. Between my intermittent fasting, lowering my calorie intake, and using my mini stepper; I’ve lost 19.4 lbs since 11/26.…

Hi CMRIVERSIDE. I understand your perception. I’ve updated the post to include all people. Unfortunately I continuously struggle with my weight as a result from being short and in my forties. I looked ok at 120 but was considered overweight and possibly at a health risk.

THANK YOU jbarr9011‼️ :)

COUNT ME IN‼️ :D

Normally once a month but I’ve returned to MFP because I’d put on some serious weight due to depression. But I’ve lost 11 lbs since 11/26. I prefer going by how my clothes fit.
