I aim for around 1600 and usually skip dinner because of intermittent fasting I don't fast at weekends and go over my calories but on weekdays I'm often under so it balances out ( sometimes 🤣) It all depends on what works for you - I find that continously grazing on food throughout the day makes me hungrier and stresses me…

Or a plate full of these ... I'm really craving sugar today!

Yes I want that too 😍 Or this ....

I'm 3 sizes smaller than when I started 😁

I've seen a beautiful dress I want to wear for New Years Eve and I want to feel fabulous 😚

I ate far too much sugar today as its my time of the month and I couldn't resist it. So I've logged it and moved on. I will fast for the rest of the day and I haven't gone over my maintenance calories.

Breakfast- kefir with cinnamon, apple and almonds. Lunch - jacket potato with butter, turkey chilli cheese and broccoli. Mint ice cream lolly. No dinner

I agree with you 100% Dieting never worked for me either - it was a white knuckle denial situation every single day - which I failed at every time. I would lose weight and gain it all back plus more I think people panic when they think of going for extended periods of time without food - but once it becomes a routine it's…

Thankyou for your replies 😊 I appreciate any help as I am totally clueless! I am going to attempt some basic bodyweight exercises today - I'm weak so I'm not expecting much 🤣 Thanks again
-
Thanks for your reply 😊 I don't have any equipment- I was thinking about body weight exercises or maybe get a set of small weights - depending on how I get on with the body weight exercise. I'm reluctant to join a gym - it's not an environment I feel comfortable in. I have time And I have no idea what I'm interested in - I…

Ignoring all the Christmas goodies in the supermarket today and buying just one small chocolate bar to enjoy after lunch - rather than buying a giant tin of Quality Street or massive box of chocolate shortbread 😁

A couple of months after the pandemic started I lost a job that made me fat and miserable. It was the best thing that could have happened! On July 12th 2020 I weighed in at 232lbs and was in a UK size 22! Something had to change- I didn't recognise my reflection. The daily anxiety that led me to over eating and wine…

@ninerbuff Call it what you will. Disorder/ obsession / addiction. People that are morbidly obese need to be weaned off of highly processed carbs/ sugar/ fatty/ salty foods. Along with councilling for their 'disorder'
-
I think people that are so narrow minded to assume food addiction doesn't exist because they don't have it are the ones that need the hug 🙄
-
Food addiction / obsession is very real IMO How do people get so out of control with their weight - weighing over 600lbs etc ..without it? Medicating whatever emotional disorder they have with food until they're bedbound. If that isn't addiction I don't know what is!

I play around with intermittent fasting I started with 16/8 with weekends off. Then moved on to 20/4 Sunday- Thursday It all depends on what's going on in my life - if I have plans to go out with friends or family etc .. I come off plan. I occasionally do a 24hr fast. At present I'm 30hrs in to a 36hr water fast. I feel…

I'm 24lbs away from being a ' normal weight ' BMI I really want to be there by my birthday in April!

Beautiful What a transformation!

I'm sensitive to carbs. I cant just have 1 cookie - and pasta and bread etc .. doesn't satiate me and I can easily consume a lot of calories without feeling full. Moderation is something I'm still learning. It's difficult- that's why I got fat in the first place. But I don't practice keto or low carb or abstinence of…

Losing 50lbs off of my body has made a big difference - I feel lighter and my feet don't hurt - even after a 10 mile hike. My lower back is thanking me too.

Breakfast- slice of toast with cheese. Lunch - Roast beef, roast potatoes, Cauliflower cheese, veg, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and gravy Hotel Chocolat trillionaires shortbread.

Definitely walking I started at 232 as well and found everything difficult. I built up my steps gradually but kept it consistent doing it 5/6 days a week. It works and is low impact. I can now do 20,000 + steps and feel great afterwards.

I showed my sister a before and after picture and she said that I looked better before and to not lose anymore weight 🙄 I'm 183lbs - I'm 30lbs overweight still! Such a bizarre thing to say!

I usually have greek yoghurt with Berries and nuts - either Almonds or walnuts. Or omlettes with different fillings - cheese and spinach is my favourite - with toast.
-
I lost the plot yesterday - I ate and drank far too much 😳 Breakfast - Greek yoghurt with cinnamon, raspberries and almonds. Lunch - Double cheeseburger with bacon, fries and onion rings. 2x custard chocolate choux buns. Dinner - 3x cheese toasties after lots of wine 😵

Cheese toasties 😊
