I’m so sorry @TeresaW1020. My cousin and his wife lost their baby to that defect earlier this year. It was the saddest news. And for people around them it was so hard because there is nothing anyone can do. Take care!

Username: kres567 Weigh in week: 3 Weigh in day: Friday Previous weight: 212.??? I think 212.8 Current weight: 211.4 No sugar challenges has gone well. I’m definitely not 100% but have definitely reduced in key areas and tones during the day. The best change for me has been increasing protein and good carbs - choosing the…

The snacking can really get me down the wrong path. I’ve been having a hard boiled egg and some raw veggies mid afternoon and it helps get me to dinner time. That totally makes sense! Increase good habits so there is less time for bad habits! Love it! Enjoy @sunshineplace! So glad you are back in the team! Love your…

I was not as strong as @TeresaW1020 but I didn’t overindulge. I had a couple of pieces of dark chocolate yesterday afternoon but that’s been it in 3 days. The first day I had headaches but I’m feeling better now. I don’t see the numbers dropping on the scale at all but I’m feeling more energetic. Have a great day!

Slow and steady wins the race!

Good news about your father-in-law. Sometimes we just have to go with the flow of life and do the best we can at the time. You will drop this extra weight in no time!

Make this time different. You can’t leave the team!!! It sounds like you know exactly what to do to improve next week. If you need to change one thing at a time to get through this 5 month challenge that’s fine. Whatever you think will help you stick with it. What’s your overall fat loss goal?
-
No worries - I can do without it in my tea. I’m getting used to the flavour without sugar.
-
I’m in!! Going to give it my best try yet. Where does honey fit? Is it a refined sugar or found in nature?
-
Yikes @TeresaW1020 - you k ow I’m not good at sticking with challenges but I’m at that point where I’ll try anything to get the scale to budge. What would this exactly mean? Is it like our list we use when Tami would declare the No Sugar Challenge? And when do we start?

Username: kres567 Weigh in week: 3 Weigh in day: Friday Previous weight: 211.8 (I think) Current weight: 212.8 Things are not budging at all. At least not in a good direction. Ive been working with a naturopathic doctor through my company’s EAP program. She confirmed that I have to cut the sugar and sweets and up my…

I’m so sorry you have had such a tough week. I’m honestly not a great person to offer advice on calories in and out because I haven’t found the formula or success on my journey..yet. Everything I read says you have to be careful how much of a deficit you keep. I’ve read somewhere to eat back half your exercise calories but…

We are going to beat this damn scale together @jactop!

Thanks so much for the info! I’ll start with the calf stretches today. What are nsaids? Is the pain low enough now that you could do physical activity like running for example? If that was your workout of choice?
-
Good luck with the scale today!

Goals for Monday; 1. No workout today. I worked out both days on the weekend and my plantar fasciitis is acting up. I have a physio appointment this week and am hoping they can help me get some relief. Anyone else have plantar fasciitis? It’s kind of frustrating - the workouts I want to do I can’t because it hurts my foot…

It is definitely mostly water. You will see that come off quite quickly once you are back on your plan and drink a lot of water.
