I’m just now finding this, but I am in a similar boat. Lost around 100lbs, gained back 25lbs. Let’s get back on the boat! Have you had any progress?

My best friend said I was her inspiration to become healthier. I was honored by that compliment!

That is so amazing. That must have made you feel like you were flying high!

My knees actually never really hurt even when I was at my highest weight. I wore them as a precaution while running to help keep my joints in place and to protect them! I can run without braces and my knees seem fine! :) I still wear them even now to help out my knees just in case!

Girrrrrl, I feel ya! As long as we try to make it healthy foods, we should be good, right? Although, you can't outrun a bad diet! :)

Thank you so very much!

I love it too!!!! And thank you! I am 5'6"!

I am so glad to have inspired you! I really hope you do, at least to try it out! I loved it because I love a challenge! And not falling into the same boring routine everyday!

I did it for the health aspect too, but I had weight to lose!! So it's a plus plus! My endurance is much higher too! Thank you!

@cameronheel your story is so inspiring! Congratulations on improving your time and for the weight loss! I'm sure you feel so much better too! You are going to get there and I'm proud of you!

Thank you so much @Housebound2017! I downloaded the C25K app on my phone! It has the whole program in it! You can start by walking if you'd like, and then build up to running. The first run is only 1 minute of running (you can do more like a light jog) and then 1.5 minutes of walking and you do that alternating for 20…

I am so glad to have inspired you! I keep thinking that a half marathon is where I'd like to end up, but goodness! It's a ways away for me still!

I started running from almost the very beginning when I was 266lbs, but a very light jog on the treadmill (I want to say 4.5 mph maybe?) and only for 5-10 minutes at a time. In high school, I had run on the treadmill fairly often so I was thinking I could just jump back into it but boy, those 5-10 minutes were hard! The…

This!! ^ I was just talking about this with my aunt! Ever since I started eating healthier and exercising, my mom has quit smoking and started walking with me, my brother comes on walks with me, and my best friend started a gym membership and has goals to get in shape and told me that I am her inspiration! We even started…

I feel like for me the only time it clicked is when I saw the bigger picture about why I needed to lose the weight. I finally discovered the reason I needed to lose weight wasn't for ny husband or my son or my family or my appearance. It is for my health. I don't want to get a horrible disease that diminishes my quality of…

My goal was/is to lose around 130 lbs, I have lost 70lbs as of now! I have a feeling this next half will be harder!

I am 22 and a mom of one! I started very simply just going on daily walks as much as possible. Makes it easier to throw the kiddos in a stroller and get out of the house! At least 20-30 mins would be a good start! I love challenges and I just picked up the Couch to 5K challenge because when I have a specific goal I stay…

Hey, thank you! I am going to continue doing it, just curious if there is something better out there I SHOULD be doing or not! (:

I don't know about you, but I become completely unmotivated at night. My best runs are in the morning so I can get them out of the way and have the rest of the day to do what I need to do!
-
Our stories are so similar it is scary. I hope to accomplish what you have soon. 40 pounds down right now! Which reminds me, I need to go run! :)

This is an awesome post about how much we change in just one year.
