No, it's sedentary or "not very active". And I didn't update my weight either . I think people are right, it's the garmin

Just my condiments. Mustard and nutritional yeast and balsamic vinegar

Yeah. 20 pounds from 155ish to 135ish at 5"8. I had an injury and I /just/ started working out so all that weight was purely diet and a bit of walking

Push ups! Hate push ups
-
Well what type of food do you eat in the day and how much?
-
I never understand why that happens. I find weight on the scale stalls more then inches though
-
I just mash bananas and then add in oats until it's formable until a cookie with a bit of vanilla and sometimes almond extract. Then I bake them at 350 for 10 mins :)

I honestly can't moderate so I just cut all highly palatable food (salt, sugar, and oil ) out of my diet. Fruit is fine of course and natural salt and sugars in food. After the first three weeks, it's literally so much easier than trying to moderate those cookies. Now I'll just have a cookie made with mashed banana and…

Yeah I plateau at 135-138 and getting down to 128 takes me sooooo much longer. I'll literally start losing a pound a month or less but whatever... still losing
-
My diary is open and I've lost 20 pounds. I was a the top end of a healthy bmi and now I'm a bmi of about 20

How tall are you? You look lean and fit. I don't know why you'd want to be leaner unless you're training for a show
-
Potatoes! Plain! So filling
-
Yeah lol. I probably drove him crazy because when I was 20 pounds heavier I would talk about exactly how much weight I had gained lmao. He doesn't seem to really care what I weigh. Or maybe he just hides it well? When I gained weight last year, I was freaking out, and he didn't seem at all bothered. Now that I've lost…

most doctors receive very little nutritional training. She said to eat at maintained to be safe but that she'd never been asked that question
-
Okay thanks so much everyone! I'm so glad I asked. Something told me a deficit may not be the best thing for recovery. :)
-
Okay that's what I was thinking! My surgeon doesn't seem too knowledgeable about it. She knows a lot about recovery but she says she's never had anyone ask if they could diet while recovering lol

Thanks guys!

totally agree! I like fiber rich, low cal density/high volume food instead of fatty calorie dense food that leaves me feelings soooo heavy. But I know for some people, they do experience bloating when they first start eating fiber but for me, it keeps my tummy flat :)

I make vegan pasta sauce for my boyfriend, vegan lasagna, put it on popcorn, on top of Chilli.. make faux Parmesan. I try not to add it to everything though cause it is high in calories and sooo tasty so hard to just have a little haha

I buy mine online at Vitacost.com

Yeah, I think 3 fruits a day is probably in the upper range of what I eat because fruit just isnt that filling nor are the most common fruits as nutrient dense as veg ( still better than most snacks though !) Berries are probably best but they're expensive unless bought frozen. I think vegetables should be the emphasis for…

I'm assuming I do since I usually eat 2 zucchinis, a pack of mushrooms, and kale for breakfast all steamed and then a giant salad and a veggie soup/ Chilli for dinner with fruit in between! I love vegggies . I like fruit too but they're not as satiating as starch and veg for me. I assume I'll be eating more fruit now that…

I mean, I wouldn't worry too much about a couple handfuls of berries or some melon but bananas and dates are super calorically dense and can add up. I'm definitely not as strict with my food scale when it comes to fruit and veg but I definitely track them all. In terms of health, it's i port at that you eat a bunch of…
-
I use an app called zero to track my fasting. I started with a 10 hr feeding window and now I usually eat in a 6-7 hour window. I love it. It actually makes me feel less hungry cause I get to eat big meals
-
It depends what kind of vegan diet you eat. Personally I've lost approximately 20 pounds on a whole food plant based diet and I'm now a super healthy weight and working on recomp. But my diet isn't fake meat and vegan pastrys - it's veggies, starches, salads, soups, chillis. Low salt, low fat. You can look at my diary if…
-
You can also make homemade Larabars with dates and nuts. I usually just roll those into balls and have one because they can be quite calorie dense. That's my go to road trip snack
-
If you want any info on how I make any of those, feel free to ask
-
Roasted chickpeas, berries, oil free popcorn, baked zucchini chips ( oil free,) any fruit, baked oat bar, oatmeal banana cookies
-
I always log them but I'm less accurate with weighing them. For example, I know that the romaine hearts I buy come up to about 35 calories each (I've weighed them and checked and their between 30-42) so I just log them at about 35. Also, I weigh out my tomatoes I'll usually just round it. Sometimes if I nibble a couple…

I'm vegan. My diary is open. Anyone can add me :)
