So basically start losing slower at this point? I'm kind of thinking that may be the best choice too lol but summer does make us want to be in our best shape so I just have to get over that and treat my body kindly :)

Oh okay awesome! Super proud of you. I'm going to do two weeks starting Tuesday (because I start a new job then so it would be nice to have more calories lol). Thanks everyone
-
I would agree!

Nutritional yeast and seitan are pretty processed but tempeh and tofu (especially tempeh) are pretty minimally processed. Technically even blending food and cooking and cutting is a form of processing.buti think we need to distinguish the difference between twinkles and tempeh lol. The fact that something's processed…

Vegetables are around 100 cal a pound, fruit are about 200 cals a pound, starch is 300-400 a pound, beans are about 600. Look up calorie density charts :)

I agree that the processed foods mentioned in this post (which are mostly minimally processed ) can be an excellent addition to a mostly whole foods diet. If you're not taking b12 and watching your nutrients on cronometer, these foods are very important for b12. You can easily get enough protein with beans, legumes and…

A whole food plant based diet cantered around, veg, fruit and grains can definitely make it easier to lose weight because those foods are less calorie dense then Standard American diet foods. Calories still matter but you should find it a lot easier to stay within your calorie goal if you're eating a lot of plants that are…

Lol okay thanks girl !

I don't really eat lunch. I eat a breakfast of like five hundred calories and a dinner of about eight hundred. It works great for me. As long as it's not night time bingeing, but an actual meal, I wouldn't think of it s a problem of any kind. It's just a preference over what makes you feel your best

Yes, you guys are right! I am definitely overthinking haha.
-
Okay awesome!!! Thank you so much. And do this for what... two weeks? A month?
-
Okay, thank you!
-
Lol well now you get to say I told you so! So what do you think I should do now that they've come?
-
What do you mean by feeling out maintenance? By monitoring with the scale?
-
Thank you!
-
Okay thank you everybody! So how do I establish what my maintenance is? If I just add 400 cals back (because I'm currently eating 400 under my TDEE projection,) will that be a pretty fair assumption of my maintance? Or should I maybe just add 200? I know this is some mental issues I have but I'm actually kind of scared to…

Where I live it costs between 7-13k Canadian for both procedures. Please get a reputable surgeon with great reviews and make sure you really do your research! And remember there are always risks involved in surgery of which you should be fully aware. Best of luck

I'm curious as to why you think keto is a good option for you? A healthy vegan diet high in unrefined carbs from whole foods will help with insulin levels.
-
Yes, I eat a salt free diet with some seaweed for iodine. There's also a lot of sodium in dark green vegetables and celery. I've had my sodium levels tested and they're totally normal. I believe it's helped me lose over 25 pounds since January. I'm now 135 at 5"8". So yeah, I think it has helped a lot. It made me crave…

Lol lucky you

Mine is open to public but feel free to add

Okay thank you! So should I up by the full 450 deficit I'm in or just do 300? I don't want to gain
-
Weird phenomenon! Now I don't know if I should do a diet break or play with my macros. Anyone know how long you do a diet break for ?
-
Lol, maybe a bit haha but I'm glad we both eat lots of veg!
-
Lol I'm prepared. I've done it before so I can do it again! I just know it will take longer than the first bit of weight. That's always how it goes lol
-
Thanks so much for all your information! I really don't care about the weight as much as being the same clothing size, so yeah, if I was to increase my muscle mass and decrease my fat I would be probably even happier than gettting back to that weight as long as I can wear the same type of clothing. I am definitely open to…

Yeah, that seems to make sense to me too. I do remember dr.doug lisle (a psychologist and author of the pleasure trap,) saying that when you are overweight your body releases hormones to make you feel full off less calories as long as you're not hijacking your taste buds with hyper palatable, addictive foods. He's the only…

Yeah, I actually used to eat a lot of those steamer bags of edamame when I first went vegan and add chickpeas to my salads as well as make oil free humus so I'll probably just start doing that again. High carb worked up until this point but it's looking like a bit more plant based protein is in order. I keep it 99% whole…

Thanks for such a detailed reply with so many great tips! I actually already do 16:8 fasting which has helped a ton. I don't think I would have gotten this far without it and I still do it everyday. I am vegan so my protein is pretty low (still enough to be healthy, as my blood tests are perfect but maybe not ideal for…

Yeah, this is how I eat! Lots of veg and starch. My diary is open. Feel free to look. Also, chef aj is really useful. She has tons of free videos on youtube
