Be patient and trust the process. If your calorie counting is on point and your ticking all the boxes you will lose weight. These things take time. You may be holding onto some water weight which will drop and when it does your weight will drop also. If you have just started your diet and are doing all the right things…

@SalmonSister well if it's recipes you are after i suggest you look into the Paleo diet as it seems to align with your eating preferences. Also look into Clean eating and raw clean treats if you are after some healthy treats. Cheers Sheena.

Sounds like a Paleo diet. But the key is not to focus on diet but a lifestyle change that is sustainable. If you are happy with the foods you eat and are getting results there's no need to label the kind of "diet" you are on.

Hi there! Fellow Aussie here. Weight before Christmas and new year's celebrations was around 61kgs. Weight after 63.5kgs. Cut down on my calories for a week and bam! Back down to 61kgs

Ok thanks cmriverside i guess I'll have to just experiment a little. With exercise calories in the past sometimes i was under other days i ate them all back as long i was at or under my calorie goal and still lost weight. Guess i may have to do a bit of tweaking in maintenance

Hi I'm currently taking risperdal and have successfully lost almost 20kgs. It can be done. I simply ate less calories than what i was burning. If you use myfitnesspal correctly through having a calorie deficit you can lose the weight you have gained. Hope this helps.

Some smoothies I like to make:one banana 1/4 cup of oats teaspoon of honey cinnamon add water and blend. Another one i like is a handful of baby spinach half a pear one banana sqeeze of lemon juice and some grated ginger. If you find smoothies with water too bland you can always use coconut water instead.
