I use thin green beans as a replacement for pasta (I still eat pasta too, haha) I use keep frozen ones on hand and it has become one of my go to meals. Just a large plate of green beans with whatever protien you like and dress as you would pasta. Sometimes I go simple with just Balsamic vinegar, or go crazy with Alfredo…

I remember my own father telling me this when I was younger. No wonder I ended up overweight, I had developed such an unhealthy relationship to food and exercise. Food is not the enemy, it's really your best ally. Exercise is not a punishment, it's a gift for and from your body (and mind!).

Hey! I would like to add you if that's okay. I'm in a similar boat... started at 190 in 2010 got down to 135. Fast forward to November 2016 and I was at 252, now at about 212 on my way to my goal of 135 and maintainability.
