Honey who made you feel like you are so far from good enough that you need to treat yourself like this. It can't feel very nice. Don't you remember a time when you weren't feeling a compulsion to weigh yourself in case it had changed? When your days and thoughts weren't constantly about fear of weight and not trusting…

Umm. As a woman on the much shorter end of the scale (I'm 5'1) It's actually perfectly ok for me to dip below 1200 calories for me. Doctor and nutritionist advocated in my case even. I'm badly injured and gained 20kg from being so much less active and from ivf. I was eating only about 1400-1500 a day. The lowest I can go…

I think that 2000 calories is probably considered normal for women on the taller side on the right side of 25. I can't add to evidence tho as I'm on 1000- 1200 as I'm crazy short and recovering from an injury and on the wrong side of 25. This is ok for my body. It feels good. I am not deprived or starving or lacking…

Focus on losing 10% of your body weight honey and don't let yourself look beyond. Let yourself have as much time as it takes to do it. Nothing like psyching yourself out by looking too far ahead or taking it all at once instead of achievable bits. Find little weekly goals around your nutrition and exercise. Any thing you…

Me!! That's how much I need to shift. But be prepared for a long long year long at least journey on my part. My body is great at muscle building but loses slowly

Hmm... also I would look at if you've entered your activity level on here accurately. If you're in a desk job and are driving to work - even with all that great healthy exercise - I think it's still considered to be mostly sedentary.

Muscle gain. Prior to this ivf weight blow out my weight was always higher than recommended by about five kg. I used to play a contact sport on skates that took six hours of training a week and swam laps for 2-3 hours a week. I was solid muscle everywhere except the boobs. At my gym they have scales that estimate muscle…

Wow. He's not overweight. By any standards. At that age he's still going to grow a lot more and he's packing on muscle by the minute. His energy needs are insane. Whatever you do don't comment on his body or his diet. Like at all. Ever. That is how you create poor self image. Textbook. Find a sport or exercise he likes and…

And the award for most ill informed and offensive goes to... Regardless of what your body stores the brain needs input from food you eat daily to function. On the starvation topic - There does exist the documented fact where a body losing its mass releases fat stores more slowly after a certain percentage (variable).…

#1 Don't not enjoy partying because you're looking after your health generally 2# drink one glass of water to every one alcohol 3# aim to store up 50-100 calories for a week before/after - your body doesn't care if you've ended your diary for the day - it's just averages over time. So take advantage of it. 4#champagne all…

Swim. Laps. Aim to keep going for an hour to start and don't stop between laps. Set a goal for yourself to stop for no more than a minute every 6-10 laps if you're totally new to it. It's a slow burn and builds natural muscle all over yet because once you get up to being able to do 2-3km in that time you'll be doing…

I always go for the no sugar low carb protein shake with women's vitamins and minerals. It's the only thing that gets me going again afterwards. I do endurance cardio and weights for my injury so I get really drained afterward as my calorie/protein intake (I'm only 5'1) goals are pretty small.
