Thank you so much.

Thank you. My wife keeps me looking good by not letting me get in to too much trouble. 😆. My daughter is on cloud 9 with how things went.

Behold. The worlds ugliest man with the worlds most beautiful woman. Yes. I married way up. Tonight was a dance organized by my 16 years old daughter to raise scholarship money for her youth group. She was in charge of the whole thing. She had to organize it, advertise it, be responsible to ticket sales, decorations, food,…

It was fabulous.

I told my wife I have to cut my belt. My daughter says she’s not surprised. Says I look unhealthy but that’s just because she’s used to seeing a big gut on me. Now she says I look flat. Interestingly my waist measurement hasn’t changed and I’ve only lost a few pounds. Wish I see what she sees. Heading to a black tie dance…

You just joined. Welcome to the group. Feel free to post away. We’re here to support each other.

Welcome Brian. Good luck on your journey.

Gorgeous smile, Ali. Well done on the make up too.

Morning all. Or, after England's Test performance yesterday, perhaps is Mourning. Either way it's the weekend and the scale is moving downward so it's going to be a great weekend. Hope it is for you as well. Go have some fun!

I don't think your nose looks that big. I love the lighting in this picture.

I have neither but I keep considering getting a tattoo. I have the design picked out. On others, some piercings are ok. Nothing through the nose is attractive to me. Tatts can be nice on both men and women. It depends on type, size, and location.

2 schools of thought. MFP says it means too good to be true. A derogatory term. Many think it’s like Ric Flair. Awesome. Fabulous. That type of think. BTW- love the pic too.

Love The Woodlands. Had a great time when I was there a few years ago for work.

always a good hobby

Hike, restore old straight razors to be used again, take long drives just to drive, learning classical guitar, and using fountain pens

Incredible change. Just the right mindset too. 1 pound at a time. Thank you for posting your transformation and for the reminder.

I give up my seat for the elderly, women (especially if pregnant), and disabled. I open the car door for my wife and hold doors open for others.

They seemed to work fine. The adventure begins with the next big snow we get. I have a place already picked out. It'll be nice to get hiking again. The treadmill isn't quite the same thing.

Not a real selfie but a pic of myself just the same. Decided there was enough frozen snow at my parents to try these out. They have a nice hill so I got to climb up and down. These snowshoes are quite comfortable and easy to walk in. They look too big though.

Strapped my empty boots into my new snowshoes to see how the would fit. These were cheap but I like the ratcheting straps and the quick release buckle. Never said this before but come in snow.
-
Happy frozen Monday. I’m grateful for car heaters today.
-
Hope you don’t need to be out too long.

There are days I wonder if the weather reporters and the grocery stores have a deal. Too often we get dire storm predictions that lead everyone to the store for milk and bread and the weatherman reports the storm fizzled out right after.

We were supposed to get a bit of snow. Got very little and it quickly turned to freezing rain. No fun. But I could probably skate in my road.
-
Just picked up a pair of snowshoes. Basic pair just to see if I’ll like it. If I only got 1 or 2 seasons of use I’d be happy. Then I’ll invest in a better pair. Looking forward to trying them out now.

48 and going to prove my doctor wrong. I can and will lose 40 pounds by June. Us Middle Agers can get fit.

Hi and welcome. Gope you have great success.

Hi Israel. Good luck on your journey to better health.
