Wow! You look amazing! And it looks like more than 30 pounds. Congrats!

True. But that doesn't make it any more acceptable. Report it to management. This is not a private gym, and no one should be allowed to do this, nor should any of the rest of the members have to put up with it.

OP, thanks for bringing this topic up. I am in the tail end of a bout with this. A lot of helpful information here. My doctors advice was to mix up the exercise I am doing. I really like the elliptical (pretty exclusively), and he said this could be a part of the problem. My knees bother me too. I am hoping that by losing…

Way to go! One day at a time will add up and bring us to our goals.

I have had a fitbit for 4 years now. I just got a Charge 2 last week. For my purposes (step related) it is perfect. Their customer service is excellent! I wouldn't still have one if I didn't love it.

The nutrition value's are not the same on my Google. They give them for a large size, but they are all different, and they are all based on a large cut into 8 pieces, which is a generous piece. We always get the veggie delite now and we don't miss not having meat.

Congratulations! Great determination sticking to this for so long! Very inspirational! You look so happy and beautiful!

Too many, but 1/1/17 is going to be my very last one!

No, you are not too old. I am 65 and have sciatica also. Keep tracking your food/drink carefully, and mixing up your exercise. You will probably show weight loss keeping careful track of what you eat and drink and calories burned from exercise. Are you eating back your calories? I am by no means an expert, (I just started…

Many restaurants have their menu's posted online with nutrition facts. Many things at restaurants have added sodium and/or sugar, so as rsclause stated, stick with lean meat/fish and grilled veggies if possible.

Well done! The coat looks great on you!

My best friends husband is an over the road trucker and is gone M-F every week. She preps meals and snacks for him for the whole week on the weekend. and freezes the meals. He has a microwave and small fridge in his truck. He has lost over 80 pounds in the last 10 months. He never goes to fast food places anymore. It is…

Plain Cheerios, unsweetened almond milk/or skim milk, piece of fruit or berries. Depending on the fruit, either a little over 200 calories, or a little under 200 calories.

Yeah, Marie Osmond does it too with Nutri System. She claims one of the products gets rid of "belly bulge"

$1250/year isn't that out of line, but you sure can find a cheaper gym.
-
Is that $1,250.00? Per month?
-
How? Cuz' MFP, my Fitbit, and the machine give overestimated calorie burns. They are probably entering the calorie burn that. For example, MFP gives me over 900 calories burned for 65 minutes on the elliptical, when 1/2 that amount is much more realistic.

Daily, first thing in the morning, but record it on Mondays only.

Everything. They add up quickly. Even little tastes of things.

Must be freezable as Green Giant also has frozen cauliflower crumbles in the freezer section now. They have veggie tots too, but I have not tried them.

MFP, Fitbit, and the machine calories burned all give me different numbers. I average them out. Personally, I think they are all high on calories burned. The average calorie burn for women 31-50 each day is 1800 for sedentary.

OMG, so much to deal with. You need to make yourself more of a priority. I started here on 1/1/17. I am 65 and still working full time, and very long hours and stressful, but manageable. One daughter, age 32, single, career oriented (but hearing the biological clock ticking) so no grandchildren. Married 41 years. Friend me…

OP has another post going on here about laxatives & seems to be dependent on them.

I have had mine in my pocket @ air temperature -27 F with wind chill in the -60 F range. It has never quit on me.

No guarantees in life. All things in moderation, and portion control for me.

^This. And use the same scale at the same time of day for the best results.
