I'm trying to get back on track. 2nd day on plan. No ones fault but my own.

I am so proud of all of you who check into this board everyday. Keep it up. I hope I'm back.

I'm sorry everyone. I'm one of those regulars (that's what I consider myself) who has not shown up on this board in a while. I'm sorry about that. I've been making poor choices. I am confident that I can get it together in short order. I never stopped exercising. I just stopped tracking and making health eating choices. I…

I think the money I spent on WW was a good motivator.

The past two days have been pretty good for me. I'm still glad about my loss. I think weighing in on the Monday after Super Bowl Sunday after making poor choices was not the best decision. I'm hoping that another loss this week will put me at one step back and two steps forward. The daughter drama has died down for now.…

@cbabie I hope you are doing ok. Some times life happens. This jouney is long term. It is a life style change. Hang in there. If circumstances put a huge bump in the road, take a break, adapt and adjust. This is a lifestyle change so one week, one meal off plan, or even a month of maintenance or even a small gain can be…

@theslightedgeforever Happy Birthday.

I had a good day today. I was very happy at work. Was very productive. Stayed on plan. Exercised. I did yoga yesterday and went to spin class tonight. I really pushed it tonight. I was under my calories today by 6 calories. That was close. Tomorrow is Friday. Unless we get more snow I will not be cross country skiing. If I…

Hello All, I made poor choices last week, but I'm back on track. I am trying to make my mistake one step back and two steps forward. @theslightedgeforever I think sometimes our memories have gotten worse because we can look stuff up on our phones, never having to remember a phone number, a birthday and have lists for…

Finally had full force heat and hot water. My shower this morning was a delight. The gas company ran a new gas line due to a blockage. Daughter has calmed down and is now longer extremely upset as of last night. We worked on her homework last night. I really can't help with the math but I was able to help in biology. That…

Heat Problems and Teen Age Girl Drama: We found out that the gas line from the street to our house has a blockage. We are getting a new gas line and meter today. I hope this fixes everything. Daughter is failing a class and we got a call from a teacher. We laid down the law even more and our daughter ran away for about 4…

Yesterday I made poor choices and went off the wagon. I went off the wagon for about 6 hours. I guess I was discouraged with gaining back those 3 pounds. Why work so hard and not lose. I'll just eat what I want and not lose. Faulty logic, I know. Ho Well, back on track now. Our new, expensive heating system has been messed…

Yes. I know. I'm always positive but I'm disappointed that I gained the 3 pounds I lost last week. I gained them back. I did not sleep well last night and now I'm tired. Weight loss is not always linear. I'm hoping that this is just one step back and next Monday it will be 2 steps forward.

@theslightedgeforever @HappyBride917 @mmcjtink @trooworld @cbabie @gemwolf110 @mysticlizard @cathyfalcone9819 @fancyladyjeri @lore11a @NEOHgirl Hello All, I just wrote a whole bunch and lost it. Amateur move for a tech director. I think I'm having a good week. I'm exercising and logging most of my calories. Thursday night…

Today is the day you draw a line in the sand. We are here to help.

Hello All, Today I've been very tired. I know that there is a chemical that is released when you are tired that makes you want to eat more. I think it is called Cortisol. I much more hungry today but I'm still within my calories. I'm headed to Yoga. I was/am unmotivated to go but when I got home from work I made sure that…

Hello Everyone, All is well here. Had a tough time getting out of bed to go to work today. I could have slept for 3 more hours. I'm so thrilled with my progress. I weighed in yesterday and I'd lost 3 pounds. I feel good and I can tell the confidence is coming back. There was a time when I was not good at writing goals. I…

I have no regrets leaving WW. Weight loss is all about burning more calories than one consumes. The mental game means a lot too. Weight watches is good with their "tools for living." Reframing, failure is feedback and focus objects are all great things. We all need to remember these tools. The thing that I miss about WW is…

I think the hybrid work out suggestions are good advice. Please take it from me, S.A.D. continues you should see a doctor. If you have health insurance, why not. Can't hurt.

@mysticlizard When you get a chance, take a picture of your tatting. All of us would love to see it.

Just checking and giving an update. Went on a long, grueling bike ride today. January 21st and I rode my bike for 3:45. Good for me, but I may have over done it. After the long ride I went up to take a bath and no hot water. See we had problems with our furnace and went with a whole new system. We now have baseboard hot…

@bugmom92 I hate to admit this but I too stop tracking if the wheels come off and I binge eat. @mysticlizard is right. Even when it is going totally wrong we should still track. Just wanted you to know you are not alone. Also, I never have a problem with not eating enough. I rarely have a challenge with choosing healthy…

@mysticlizard with children you pick your battles. I did "bug" my kids this weekend and the living room is staying clean. I'm glad you got your exercise in. Hope your eating went well. On the subject of confident, I know how I feel psychologically when in at a healthy weight. I'm light hearted, fun loving and confident.…

@mysticlizard My kids rooms are a mess. I am really going to try to get them to just keep our living room neater. Often they will eat and leave their dishes. I always clean them and take them to the kitchen. I am probably not teaching them to be respectful of our space. To take it one step further, I'm probably enabling…

@Elaine352962 you should consider yourself joined. Welcome to the group. We are all here for you. ✌

@theslightedgeforever Thanks for welcoming me to the group. I'm really enjoying our conversations. Here is a link to Tabata. It is named after an Olympic coach. It can be a way to get a quick and effective work out in. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-intensity_interval_training#Tabata_regimen One of the things I like…

I still have a long way to go to have good house cleaning habits. A messy house drives me crazy but it does not seem bother others who live here. It gets hard when your standard of cleanliness is higher than others. I feel like I've "come down" in my standard and now accept things sitting out, dust all around and pet hair…

@trooworld Never took the pooch on the hike. We have book group tonight at our house so I used cleaning as my exercise. My wife appreciates the help and all I've done. Funny but we have to invite people over to clean the house. It is really good that you make your food for the week ahead. That is great planning. People…

@bugmom92 your advice to @mmcjtink is spot on. We are all talking about planning. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Or for me, a pound to my gut. I do not do aqua aerobics yet. I just get in the pool and move as much as I can. I'm really in pretty good aerobic shape. My biggest problem are transitions. Going…
