Today was day one of T25 in the morning and my regular workouts when I get home from work. I had to pull myself out the bed but I did it. WE'll see how my energy levels are when I get off work.

I have to modify a few of the moves, especially the ones that require a lot of tork on the knees. I tore my meniscus the first time I did T25 and I don't want to make that mistake again. Hey all....this will be my second time doing t25. I've also done insanity and p90x. This will be my morning workout and i.still plan.on hitting the gym in the evening. I have to be careful and modify some of the moves as the high impact plyometrics tore my meniscus the first time I did i. I'm cyclist so my overall goal is…

I'm in. I just started for the second time but I can back track.

I think we are on the same page. I agree with you totally that it's up to individuals to negotiate the terms of their own interactions. I just think it's wrong for a male to expect a female to socialize with him when maybe she doesn't want to.

Curse you Night time eating!

I agree but to an extent. To say that a female should be expected to engage someone because they are friendly is wrong on a few different levels. Yes, a polite "hello" should get at least an equally polite "hello" in return. But we all know that polite hello usually comes with more. My wife deals with that all the time. I…

The notion that women are supposed to be friendly and respond with a smile when approached by a friendly male is rooted in sexism. Sorry bro, but I have to call it like I see it. It's a gym, not a bar or lounge.

You're times will increase the more you run. Good luck.

Thanks. I'll check it out.

3 miles is a good workout. When I run outdoors I tend to go by miles (at least 3) when I run at the gym I usually go by time (30 minutes). There's no method to my madness though...just what I'm used to.

20 lbs is my goal by June 1st.

Could also be your feet. I used to get back spasms so bad I had to crawl into the ER one time. Turns out it was all the running I'd been doing over my life and my super flat feet. It stopped the day I got orthopedics for my sneakers.

That's more than impressive!

Was this your first century ride?

I'm not familiar with Icelandic yogurt. Maybe I'll give it a look.

I used to do protein shakes regularly.

Yeah, the store bought/packaged sweets are horrible. I've done the whole30 program once upon a time and had to prepare my own snacks at home...it worked, but I can imagine your home prepared snacks are far better than mine.

It's funny, around 2pm every day my body starts asking me for chocolate. I've been using almonds and pistachios as substitutes and this week I've brought oranges to work. So I'm finding ways to get around the sugar. But breaking any addiction requires a certain level of self-discipline which is something I admittedly do…

Feel free to add me.

No shoes will definitely make high impact plyometrics painful. It's not the jumping but how you land that matters. Get a good pair of criss training shoes and land softly...it will make a world of difference.

CTCX cycling training videos...intense and will leave you in a pool of sweat.

I've never done a TT race but it looks fun. Not sure how well I'd do. I sign up for any Fondo I can get to. I'm not the fastest in any group but I can suffer with the best of 'em.

Can't go wrong with Mavic. Prices can be reasonable and they are bomb proof.

Maybe I'll try this thing called yogurt. I guess it can't be all that bad. I'll let you know if it kills me.
