Has a physician checked that knee out? I tore my meniscus doing t25. So I have cut down on my high impact plyometrics, but I still run and spend hours on my bike. See a physician and take their advice

I agree with all the statements above. Find a good local bike shop. Get a proper saddle and proper shorts. Then ride as much as you can. Your body will adjust.

Can't go wrong with fitbit

Crashed my bike a few years back. Broken rib, broken thumb, dislocated shoulder, nasty road rash. No one saw the accident, but people heard the sound of my helmet hitting the ground. Pretty sure I'd be dead or quite different had it not been for my helmet. I don't ride with people who don't wear a helmet.

Give me an 8 hour window and a beautiful day to ride my bike

While I have a Samsung gear s3 frontier that I love, if you're looking for a watch that puts fitness first I don't think you'll find anything better than garmin

I work on a college campus and I know how difficult this can be. 1. Meet with your campus dining director. You'd be surprised at how helpful they can be. Some campus food providers even have a nutrionist on staff who can help you make healthy choices. If they offer no help, start a petition and get a new vendor 2. Use the…

Go to YouTube and type in heavy bag routines. There are tons. You can choose whichever on meets your fitness goals and your fitness level.

A little different because I'm a cyclist and have a bike computer mounted to my handle bars that's tracks all my race data and uploads it to the strava app. But I usually carry my phone as well. My smart watch can upload to the app of my choice and if I was a runner, that is probably all I would carry.

No comparison. Strava is the best app for cycling and runners hands down. IMO.

You can do this. You are ahead of the game already! Clarify your goals some more...how much weight are you trying to lose and by when? And what exactly does "eat healthier" mean?

I've don't Insanity, p90x, and t25. The high impact plyometrics tore my meniscus. Be careful....they're great workouts though. Saw my best results with p90x.

I too am sitting at a desk for much of the day. I workout at least five days a week, but without monitoring my carb intake it would all be for naught.

Thanks for the feedback all. I just started using GNC's plant based Vega for my breakfast meal replacement. I blend it with banana to give it a thicker consistency. So far so good.

Indoor trainers can be expensive and noisy but they are worth it. Google cycling trainers and you'll get tons of videos. I'm a fairly serious cyclist and I bought some used rollers off eBay for 30$. Works for me...but the main point is they work.

I've used lightly sweetened almond milk. It's not Irish Cream, but it's something.

Welcome to the club. You'll find an abundance of people on here with similar struggles. You are not alone.

I try to walk around campus at least twice during the day. Plus I schedule meetings in other people's offices which forces me to walk.

you have to want to workout. I have a very difficult time to wake up early to do weights or t25. but I'm a cyclist and during the summer I wake up early so that I can get in a good 3-4 hour ride and still be home while everyone is sleep. But because I LOVE being on my bike, I pop out of the bed a 4:30 without blinking.…

Between work, my 60 minute commute, coming home to be with wife and two young sons, I find my self working out either early in the morning when everyone is sleep and around 9pm when the boys are in bed. Plus, I try to get some type of walk in while at work. I spend most of the day behind a desk.

Just starting low carb diet this week. Tomorrow my official day 1

At some point you'll have to control the cravings to some degree. And it depends on your fitness goals. I'll trying to lose weight around my abs and I have a history of diabetes and heart disease in my family, so my craving for sugary sweets can keep the weight on and pose a health risk. I have a very hard time controlling…
