In all honesty... the freshmen 15 is catching up with me and it's time to stop it!

Hey,
My names Georgina and I'm nineteen years old. I'm about to finish my first year at college and I'm interested in how other people live a healthy lifestyle whilst living in college campuses. With limited food options it can sometimes be difficult to keep carbs and calories down.

Any suggested meals/ techniques welcome!

I work on a college campus and I know how difficult this can be.

    1. Meet with your campus dining director. You'd be surprised at how helpful they can be. Some campus food providers even have a nutrionist on staff who can help you make healthy choices. If they offer no help, start a petition and get a new vendor

    2. Use the campus gym and try walking or biking to class rather than using the campus shuttle.

    3. Resident students gain that freshman 15 because they tend to eat more and workout less. Don't fall into that trap.
