  • Thanks guys, I will be having a chat with the coach when I go on Thursday, I was looking for some general advice, I was thinking 12oz would be about right and judging by Gemma's post I am probably right. How do I know what is a good glove? I have some MMA gloves but need both for what I am doing which is MMA/Boxing/Self…
  • I have always had a low BP, when I was a teen used to faint a lot, the GP didn't seem concerned though at the time, and then when I was pregnant I fainted a lot which was annoying but the GP/Hospital again didn't seem concerned just told me to take it easy and not to overheat. I have my BP tested regularly and it is always…
  • I have one and use it all the time, I watch netflix and bike, its a great calorie burn and as it is at home I don't have to leave the house and go anywhere, with a kid with autism its not easy to get out so it works really well for me, I like it, whether or not it will help your feet or be something you can do I can't say,…
  • I use the Zoggs Fusion Air goggles, no suction and really comfy, I have bought the junior version for my son to, they come with a variety of nose pieces so you can adjust them to fit properly
  • thanks for the adds, I swim as much as I can fit in with my son and my husbands shifts, I am thinking of trying to go before work and the days that my husband starts late so he can watch our son, it will mean our daughter getting herself to college though so not sure how well that will work, she's nearly 18 so I am sure it…
  • I use them and I have a similar issue with turning, it does get easier though the more that you do it. I can tumble turn but hate doing it unless I absolutely have to so tap turn and just hope for the best
  • Welcome to MFP, I sent you a FR hope you don't mind, the best advice I can give you is to plan ahead, if you plan your meals and your snacks for the next day then you are more likely to stick to it. The first 2 weeks are the hardest, you will feel the most hungry, you will be grumpy and it will be hard, if you can get…
  • Hi, Ive been here a couple of weeks, welcome, feel free to add me if you need 'friends'
  • I tend to stick to there or there abouts with the carbs/fat/protein, some days I am over on one or another and on other days I am well under, it all depends on the day, so long as you average out about right you should be fine.
  • don't want to worry you but a sudden round face with no change in anything else could be to do with something other than diet, are you well in yourself? if you are eating right and exercising and not putting weight on, that is something to think about.
  • I'm in we go on holiday on the 5th of March, determined to feel better about myself by then
  • I had prawns, rice and veg stir fry with a satay stir fry sauce
  • I can understand why rotten chicken would put you off chicken for life For me its Rocket and Coriander both just make me gag
  • I have this sometimes to, I have started saving calories during the day so that I can have a slice of toast before bed, that way I don't wake in the night hungry.
  • absolutely, I have known for ages that I needed to lose weight and get healthy again, I know exactly what I need to do and why I have put on but until my mind was in the right place I wasn't able to do anything about it. Its definitely mind over matter.
  • Hello and welcome, we are all grumpy sometimes, I know I am, especially when I am tired. You look fab not fat and ugly at all, I know its hard to believe that sometimes if you feel that way about yourself, but you should try even if it is only for a few minutes a day. Feel free to add me as a friend if you want to :)
  • I don't understand why a doc would recommend cleansing? your liver and kidneys do a great job of that without any faddy diets, keep doing what you are doing, I'm sure you are doing great!
  • I'm from Yorkshire looking for friends to, I joined at the beginning of the week, seem to be doing ok so far, slowing getting used to the reduction in cals and feeling positive, add me!

  • Add me, I need help to stay on track
  • I always check the label and weigh my food, I never trust the MFP database to be the same as what I have
  • to the OP, I agree with the majority on here who have said to try and have a few PT sessions or check out vids on you tube fore idea's, you could buy yourself some light free weights for home, they don't have to be new, 2nd hand would do the trick, so that you can practice at home and get some confidence. I always tell…
  • I have always found weekends easier as at work I sit next to a table full of treats which seems to be stocked up constantly by people and ignoring that is hard, really hard! On a weekend I track my cals the night before and plan my snacks just the same as I do during the week. I can't work out on a weekend due to having a…
  • I never decide not to drink but I am not really a drinker anyway, I can go weeks or even months without a drink without thinking about it, I have been told that you are better drinking something like a Gin and slimline tonic if you drink anything due to calorie content, but I don't like Gin so would have a glass of wine…
  • Hi, as the above poster said concentrate on being happy and healthy, don't worry about what you should/ shouldn't look like. Emotional eating is hard to stop, you need to teach yourself new habits and habits take time to form, you can do it and you will get there. Happy for you to add me if you need a friend
