Nothing wrong with turning your basement into a mini gym. That's actually my dream.

I'd get a trainer instead. It really depends on what your goal is. Personally, workout buddies are unreliable. There're times where your workout buddy cancels, your whole workout plan gets ruined for the day. But hope ya find one.

It's a good start for people who don't know how to eat healthy. It's not a weight loss diet, but the weight loss is one of the perks. Most people who loved whole30 convert into Paleo or Primal. It's an introduction to a healthy whole food eating life style.

Thanks for your response. I'd like to gain muscles and lose fat to be specific. I've purchased a digital scale that claims to measure BMI, fat and muscle mass percentages etc but it seems to be garbage. I think I'm gonna do some cardio and see. Thanks again!
