Yes every single time I choose outdoor walk. It doesn’t do it on any of the other exercise choices. If i walk on my treadmill or use my elliptical it gives me credit. I’ve tried unpairing it and then pairing it again multiple times, still doesn’t work. Only advice Apple can give is to use indoor walk when outdoors. My…

My move and stand are off because I forgot to charge my watch last night and didn’t put it on until 15 min before I went on my walk. But it only credited me for 5 min out of 44

Pretty sure it should be calibrated by now. I’ve had this watch since it came out. Funny thing is the outdoor walk use to work on my first Apple Watch but not this one. Apple just tells me to use indoor walk, which I don’t think I should have to.

My move calories and stand calories are off because I forgot to charge my watch last night so I didn’t put it on until 15 min before I went on my walk. But still I walked 2.14 miles in 44 min with a average heart rate of 130 and it still only registered 5 min.

A brisk walk is walking at 3mph. Which is a mile every 20 min. Today I walked 2.14 miles with a average heart rate of 130 and it still only gave me credit for 5 min.

A brisk walk is 3mph or the equivalent of a mile every 20 min. So in 44 min I walked 2.14 with a average heart rate of 130 and it still only gave me credit for 5 min.

I didn't even think of that! I will definitely call my doctor Monday..
-
My heart wouldn't be able to handle all that. It gives me issues doing 40 min sometimes lol.

I haven't taken a diet break but I did change my loss a week to .5 since I only have 18 pounds left to reach my first goal. I've lost 38.2 pounds so far. My weight loss was consistently 1.5 to 2.2 pounds every week. Then I stalled for about 11 days. Then today I lost a pound. Going through my diary I was under eating at…

That's what the guy I talked to from MFP said last night. It projects how many steps are taken by a certain time. He said usually after you hit 2000 steps by a specific time. But I'm at 261 and it's 10:33am here. There's days I already have 3000 steps by now and a 0 adjustment lol.
-
I get 1 calorie for taking over 200 steps But 1 calorie for over 7200 steps is accurate lol Just showing my point of how inconsistent it is
-
When I worked in healthcare I would get 20,000 steps just at work. Now I'm lucky to get 5000 on a rest day unless I'm running errands or go for a walk around my neighborhood. I don't ever log my outside walking as exercise because I'm just doing it to get to 10,000 steps lol
-
I downloaded lose it and I'm giving that a try. It does seems to work better. At least it gives a step adjustment lol. Granted I don't plan on eating those adjustments back especially on workout days. But it at least gives me something to go by if I'm feeling weak and fatigued then I know I should probably eat more.

Per the posted images, it gave her 536 exercise calories for the 14000 step day (which seems reasonable to me for a non-obese female unless she's really tall) - the "adjustment" figure was 0 because that amount was already added as other exercise entries.[/quote] I didn't post a image of the day I walked 15,000 steps and…

It's 846 steps short?
-
Another thing that's weird is my steps are correct on my homepage but lower in my diary?
-
Yeah It will ask if you want to up your goal once you hit all 7 days closing all 3 rings. I just keep it at 350. I'm probably more like lightly active but because I have some days where I may only get 5000 steps I keep it at sedentary.
-
Apple explained to me that the move calories is what you have burned in a given day with exercise and any activity that elevates your heart rate, and the total calories is basically how I understood is your TDEE for that given day? So I know 372 of the 714 is my exercise calories and there's no issue with it syncing over…

Yes I've calibrated my Apple Watch for my stride length. All I had to do was select outdoor walk and take a 20 min walk on a flat surface. But what gets me is the lady from MFP basically said users with fitbits don't have to put in much effort to get adjustments but Apple Watch users do? I'm almost the same size as my…

Then tells me Fitbit users don't require as much effort to get an adjustment but Apple Watch users do. Then again made a suggestion that I "switch" my tracking device. I don't have a problem with my device but the way this site is set up. Funny how I get adjustments on other apps but this one.
-
So apparently 1 calorie for 7,248 calories is "accurate" according to the person I spoke with from MFP. Smh..
-
Mines set at sedentary. So I would assume any steps over 5000 should give an adjustment? Like yesterday I took around 4000 steps "during" my workout. At the end of the day I had around 13,500 steps. 4000 of those steps I can see not getting an adjustment for since those were done during a logged exercise. But what about…

No it's sending over all my info, I've double checked 100 times. It also works fine on other apps. You can only input your general info on Apple. Age, height and weight. There is no activity level setting. According to other apps I'm eating 100 to 150 less a day then what I should be and that's just with an adjustment. I…

I don't have a problem with Apple. I ignore my calories burned on my watch. I only worry about intentional exercise calories. My issue is there not being a adjustment on MFP for steps taken. Where on other apps it is.. if I take 15,000 steps one day ( no exercise) and MFP only gives me a adjustment of 3 calories, I think…
-
I get that, but on days I don't work out it's not adjusting them correctly either. One day I walked 15,000 steps (no exercise) and was given a adjustment of 3 calories. Another day 8500 steps (no exercise) 14 calories. I'm 5'3 and currently weigh 158.8. I'm not obese but I am overweight. I would think I would get more of…

That's mine for yesterday
-
This is what I was credited yesterday, just my exercise. Another thing to it always says I walk on the treadmill at 2mph the most 2.5mph when yesterday I walked at 3.5mph at a incline. Suppose the incline may be throwing it off? Shows 3.5mph on my Apple Watch lol.
-
This was yesterday's progress from my Apple Watch

Apple Watch shows your active calories which is through intentional exercise, step count and basically any activity that elevates your heart rate. Then is also shows your total calories which is meant to be something like your TDEE for the day. Overall the watch itself is great. I use to have a Fitbit charge HR. When the…

I contacted MFP last night. Everything I've read in the past on their response to this is bs. It has to be a bug. I walked 15,000 steps one day (no exercise) and it gave me a adjustment for like 3 calories. I noticed the other day I had walked 7500 steps no exercise logged and it gave me 14 calories. Something is…
