if you regularly take Advil, stopping suddenly can cause rebound headaches. Getting all the right nutrients could help if you frequently have headaches. You may be missing an important one if you've just started watching what you eat. Good luck x

identifying the cause of the headaches is the first step. I have chronic headaches, and nothing seems to help except a ton of ibuprofen. On the flip side, taking those OTC drugs can cause headaches if you stop taking them after a long period of use. Good luck x Edit: and I've lost 17 pounds before, without any exercise at…

milk, cheese, eggs. Vegetarian, but I could never go vegan

Yogurt is amazing. People rave about Greek yogurt, but I find that it's just plain gross. Normal yogurt still has protein. I eat eggs obsessively. With a million ways to cook them, there has to be a way that your kids will like. Not totally sure, but I think there's some good string cheeses. I haven't had them since I was…

THIS. I think of my disabled cousin. I think of Oscar Pistorius (spelling?) and his Olympic feat. I think of everything I haven't done yet, but should be able to -- run more than 1 mile at a time. And I think of the future me with the fantastic body :)
-
As a Florida girl who sees too many gators in my own backyard, I alway imagined gators chasin me  I wish I could run again, but I've collected too many injuries recently

I drink the low sodium kind when I can't afford to buy vegetables

ughh, this is the opposite of my problem. I look SOOOO much more than I weigh

When I started using MFP, I was only eating 600 calories on a good day. Once I increased to 1200 (only by eating ice cream and all other no-no foods) I lost weight by magic. I know it sounds backwards, but try to eat more, and keep it down! No purging. It destroys your esophagus and is so bad for you. Feel free to add me,…

simple answer: margarine complicated answer: margarine most people won't taste the difference, and one day won't kill you

depression.... and chocolate, popcorn, frosting, and ice cream every day.... and I picked up a nasty soda habit... and the Freshman 15... and the it's Summer so I'll sleep & eat all day... and the social outings... and everything else... but I'm here now and the past doesn't matter, cuz I won't do it again

this ^^^^^^ any tomato products give me the worst acid reflux. Also, over-eating is a huge trigger for me. It starts as acid reflux, but then it turns into puking my guts out

Sorry about your mum, and good luck with your journey My mum doesn't have diabetes, but most other people in my family do, and developing diabetes is one of my biggest health fears. I too could benefit from a healthier lifestyle. You aren't in this situation alone :flowerforyou:
-
It may not suit your lifestyle, but I usually don't eat breakfast. I don't stick to an Intermittent Fasting lifestyle, but I usually do it unconsciously. Once I eat, I can't stop, so it's easier to have my first meal around 2 PM and stop eating between 8 and 10 PM.

I made it through 3 days, then took 2 days of rest. I didn't need it, but mum keeps making plans for me  Going back to try it again today, but I'm calling it Day 3 again. And I can't believe it, but I miss the whole "so sore I think I'm dying" feeling that you have after a good workout
-
about to go do Day 3... almost chickened out, I don't enjoy the soreness! But I know I have to

one whole egg and as many whites as you want. 2 whole eggs plus some whites isn't bad either, unless you're obsessive about cholesterol. and adding vegetables, or low fat cheese, or a variety of spices to change it up. In high school, I went through a time where I ate eggs every single day. It got to the point where I'd…

eating 1000 calories every day AND working out that much isn't good. try to eat AT LEAST 1200 if you work out. good luck
-
I made it through 9 minutes and I felt like my heart was going to explode. I'm repeating Day 1 tomorrow, and I WILL make it through the whole video :ohwell:

surgery is always an option if you're that desperate
-
I'm about to start Day 1 :indifferent: I'll be back later, as long as it doesn't kill me

30 Day Shred is definitely on YouTube, and I'm sure there are others you can find for free :D

bump. I already have problems with both knees and one hip. I'm planning on starting 30DS on Monday, but I'll be starting slow

10 Commandments of Food 1. You can drink as much water as you want, without getting fat 2. Eat smaller portions 3. NO donuts. You'll finish the whole dozen within 5 minutes. 4. NO brownies. See rule 3. 5. When in doubt, drink more water. See rule 1 6. A calorie is a calorie, so everything non-toxic is okay -- IN MODERATION…

this is the inspiration I needed! what exactly did you do? how much did you run/walk? and did you do anything else??

I've never been vegan -- I love dairy and eggs too much -- but being vegetarian is super easy for me. Maybe you could start there before going vegan? :flowerforyou: Edit: And as far as protein, it's not that difficult to get enough. For vegans, it might be harder, but I usually get plenty. I LOVE beans

bump :)

it may be the carbonation. I can only drink flat soda, when there's absolutely no bubbles left at all.

sweet potatoes. no joke, they're my favorite dessert (other than the TOM ice cream binges) start cutting back slowly, it'll get easier. add me if you want :flowerforyou:
