Pray about it. Haha. Just kidding. Um.... if I'm just in the mood to mindlessly munch of something, fresh vegetables are definitely the way to go. If it is true hunger, then I eat. It's all about listening to your body. Try not to get to caught up in the numbers game.

I have similar habits. I'm truly surprised that nobody has yet told you to just drink some water and go back to bed and get over it. That doesn't work for me though. Especially on higher millage weeks. I do try to stick to liquids though so it does not disturb my sleep and nutrition plan much. Slamming a glass of cold…

While there are many intelligent and experienced individuals here on MFP, I would STRONGLY encourage you to have this discussion with either your primary care physician or a dietitian.

Holy balls is it easy to fall behind here! Such an active group of people! After weekend miles and a short run this morning I'm now at 15.5/70. That 70 is NOT happening this month; and even that was a scaled down goal... Illness benched me too long and I'm not bouncing back very quickly. However, I got five days of running…

@7lenny7 @ddmom0811 I am just in awe of tech gear and am now seriously wondering if it could stop a bullet! I also shudder to think what would've happened to my cotton yoga pants that I used to wear out when I first started running. Good gear really is worth the money. Ironically, that is the worst fall I've had as a…

@RespectTheKitty Good luck at your appointment tomorrow! Have you tried talking with a therapist? Psychotherapy is very powerful when combined with medication or even flying solo. The trick is finding the right one for you, just like with medication. :)

I would suggest discussing this with a therapist instead of trying to figure it out here in cyber world. Good luck!

Should add that by the looks of my right leg you would think my tights should be shredded or at least half a few holes in them. Not the case. These things must be bullet proof. They're made by Compression Z. I love this company. I think they're foot sleeves fit better than other brands that I have purchased, too. I'm about…

I totally fell and hit HARD this morning. Already sore as hell. Bruises are already showing. Brought my heating pad to work and am all over it like a lizard on a hot rock. Glad tomorrow is a rest day! Basically I was blowing snot rockets and took my eyes off of the sidewalk just long enough to trip over some jacked up…

Three miles this morning. Back to puking. Almost regret eating steak last night. Almost. Believe that takes me to 17.5/70. Is it the weekend yet? I need a good long run. Or even a bad one. I'm just really wanting some trail miles and I feel like I'm well enough (despite the puking) to start bumping my millage back up.…

Miles to add from my weekend and this morning. I'm now up to a meager 14.5/70. Had a great weekend running at Cuyahoga Valley National Park though and surprised myself by really enjoying the race. Looking forward to many more and am kicking myself a little for putting it off for so long. Got a short fartlek run in this…

Got another short run in yesterday. Puked once, but that's cool. Felt much better after. Pretty sure I have bronchitis, but not going back to the doctor. I have asthma. This happens every year. Not a big deal, just annoying and a little disruptive to my training schedule. Today is rest and travel, tomorrow is trail running…

@Elise4270 Ha! I only barfed once today so I'm counting that as a win and it was more due to sinus drainage than true GI issues. And you're right, I do have chronic autoimmune issues, but this is normal people illness I am trying to rebound from; although the autoimmune issues makes recovery twice as hard and long....…

@banana742581 High five on the five! That's great!! @Elise4270 Woman! What is up with this insult to your injury? Ok. FINALLY got my first run of the new year in this morning. I was spitting and blowing snot rockets the whole way, but it felt good. Almost four hours later and I'm still happy as..... a runner who just ran…

Work closely with both your psychiatrist and primary care on this matter. Any doctor worth even discussing a sneeze or flatulence will not want to leave you on meds that benefit you cognitively but adversely affect your medical well being. This will most likely take some shopping around to find that happy combination that…

@7lenny7 Why not just ditch the vehicle all together and just run the whole way home? I'm sure your son would love to have a new truck on campus. :D

@BeeerRunner Congratulations on your 20!!! That's HUGE!!! And I know, because I still need to push past 17. = ) @kristinegift Hope your bug clears up quick! @greenolivetree Your plan to add and be more consistent with frequency of runs before adding millage goes along with most of what I have read and any good advice I've…
