That's just what I thought. It does seem to be the 'in thing' at the moment. I have my whey protein daily which, as you said, already has BCAAs among other good stuff so didn't think it was necessary. I just keep reading about on IG and FB so wanted to ask the experts ;)

Which I'm still quite careful not to do!
-
But will the increased cals stop me losing body fat?
-
Confused is my general state at the moment :D So it would seem I am already eating at maintenance as I'm not losing weight but losing body fat. I'm training hard, as always, and just wondered whether my increased calories would hinder my losing body fat...... guess I've answered my own question.
-
Cool - so sounds like I should carry on doing what I'm doing!
-
I'm not losing weight - and that's not my goal.
-
Utterly confused by this whole recomp thing. I'm happily maintaining 48kg, 20% body fat but still have some to lose. Eating around 1500 cals a day, training 5/6 days a week. Help!!!!!!!!!!
-
I don't want to lose weight - maintaining around 48kg which I'm happy with. Just want to shred some more body fat. Thanks for the link. I'll take a look :)

Thanks all for your advice. I'm trying to eat more carbs for a month or so, and can already see more muscle definition. I know that's water but it looks good! I've been low carb for over a year now so I'll see how it goes. If I feel fluffy, then carbs will definitely be off the menu again.
-
That is a seriously impressive transformation

Definitely deadlifts. As well as limiting my carbs to begin with, it's the one thing that's stripped down my body fat and tightened up my tummy.

I swear by Protein Works Diet Whey Advanced, though I've had the 100% Whey Advanced too before. Great taste, mixes well and has definitely helped me gain lean muscle.

Thank you so much :)

Mine are in my profile pic - sooooo proud of them! :)

My training has stepped up a gear, along with my nutrition, which is why I'm wondering about supplement. Still undecided but thanks for all your advice though :)
-
My nutrition is definitely getting better - I'm making an effort to eat more calories and can feel the difference in my energy levels

My potty mouth is in full force when I'm lifting! Usually with headphones on so I can't hear myself :D I don't feel so bad now it's clinically proven
-
Ha ha - you can never be too ripped! :D
-
OMG this is the funniest - sad I missed it!
-
My protein goal is 151g - are you saying that's too much?
-
Thanks for this - great advice. It sounds like I actually don't need to be thinking about supplements at all!
-
Lol - you know me :)

I'm not too worried about my scale weight - I'm around 49kg but that goes up & down slightly over the month.
