yeah my Garmin does not log swims properly - even though the vivofit 3 can supposedly recognise swimming/running/biking. I log swims on mfp for the calorie burns and let the garmin just track walking/running. :) swimming is such a lovely calorie burner

did my 10km yesterday 3hrs 42 in the pool. 20mins of breaks. Happy that I kept my swim speed up- now to maybe work on reducing the breaks! pool shut til 27th :( (my shoulders are cheering)

2.5km today. Nice and easy pace
-
1km short swim this morn but......17 mins tops - which is quick for me! helped by the fact that I snoozed my alarm and didn't get in the pool til 7:55 hehe

2.5km felt good today, clearly the wine, bread and crisp binge last night was good fueling.

1km this morning - very slow with many stops. Blasted a bit this weekend with BodyCombat and BodyPump so was a kind of recovery swim. Signed up to a triple 5km in March 2019. 3 x 5km swims over 3 days. Now thinking about getting my pace up for it. Medium is less than 2 hours, but fast is 1hr30 - not quite there yet - think…

nothing 'only' about that! :D

1km today - just nice relaxing pace after a 2 mile run (in the freezing fog!) aiming for a 5km tomorrow

I swim 5 times a week. I track my progress by my pace for a 1km swim. But I enjoy it so much am not too worried about progress. Re-started 4 years ago and was barely able to do 2 lengths front crawl. Recently completed a 10km swim in the indoor pool. Mainly I think I remembered how to swim properly over time, I was a fish…

hah! hahahahahahahaha :D I get 2000m in 40mins on a good day! that is amazing for 'casual' pace! go have fun in the ocean tomorrow :D ETA: I did 2.5km this morning - did some intervals and arm work
-
4km today was tired after 3.5, but couldn't be bothered to set up a new exercise on here for that - so swam the other .5........something about that seems odd lol

MapMyRun does this, and is free, and allows you to change notifications between 0.1 of a mile or every 10 miles. I like updates every mile for shorter runs and every 5 for longer. :D

Love swimming! This is the group girlwithcurls2 was talking about. Some awesome peeps in there. I started swimming again 4 years ago after about a 15 year break because swimming was a 'faff' and too time consuming. Started off swimming 3 times a week and I could just about do some breaststroke and maybe one length of front…

2.5km this morning 50mins after a 2.5km run 20 mins sigh, swimming still feels way easier even though it takes over twice as long

I endeavour to live by her codes! :D (random but am Discworld geek so yay!)

4km this morning before work. Offset the mess that was my food intake last night a bit so am happy. :)
-
1 mile again - took it easy and marveled at speed of others!
-
1 mile bit more today with underwater work.
-
1km again - was going to be 3, but I couldn't get out of bed, then I couldn't be bothered in the pool. And the universe rewarded my laziness by having the shower soak my bag and clothes so I spent an age drying them. Good start to day haha
