Week 8 challenge #1 From week 6 "The Last Great Race" I did the 5k frost bite footrace. (well I put in just over 11 km, not enough for the 10.49 mile ididarod which is about 17 km.) I did a combination of interval running and walking. I picked this challenge because I love to be outside.

Unfortunately....This is not the first time I've done this...You'd think I would learn. Those peppers always look so innocent sitting there all shiny and candy apple red. Yet it always surprises me how much the oils stick to the skin, even after vigorous washing. Definitely need to pick up pepper gloves.

Is the "Oatmeal Plus" a premix package or a homemade combination you made up. It sounds wonderful. I love both savoury and sweet oatmeal, but I never thought to do a big batch and refry it. If it's a homemade combination, can you provide ratios and cooking times (do you stagger cooking time or cook separately or something?…

I did 10.4 KM walking outside, and since our weather dropped back down to -17 celsius, making the snow not so sticky and in the spirit of the race...., I used my Norwegian Kick Sled for the remaining 8 KM. See pic below of my ride. You…

Hello Team 2, I'm new to challenges, and new to my fitness pal actually. I'm from Muskoka Ontario Canada, 50 years old, female. I enjoy exercising outdoors when I can: cross country skiing, Norwegian kicksledding (google it, it's awesome when the snow is too icy to ski), I'm working hard at liking running, (a little more…
