Yep those are my 2 most challenging micronutrients too. One serving of cereal is usually fortified with 50-75% of your daily iron. Some, not all, studies show that supplementing calcium can lead to increasing arterial plaque buildup and increase risk of heart attack. Personally, I'd try to pick calcium rich foods, vs a…

I make salsa chicken, teriyaki chicken, beans, and sweet potatoes frequently. The potatoes are so fast (vs the oven), cut them length-wise and put them on the steam rack with water in the bottom and set for 20 minutes +\- (depending on size of potato). I've done baked apples, and going to be doing squash pretty soon.…

I'm 29, in Wyoming. Add if you'd like. Just seeing others post their workouts keeps me motivated!

My first thought was thyroid problems too. See your doc for a thyroid panel. Also, you could try eating at maintence for a week or 2, like a diet break, and see if the hair loss decreases or stops.

Thanks for the link rainbowbow! Do you rollerblade/skate?
-
So I'm 132, 5'6", and rollerbladed at an indoor rink for 1hr 40 minutes. One calorie burn from the exercise log said 1100 cals and the other said about 650 calories. I went with 650 cuz 1100 just seemed like too much! But it may have actually been somewhere inbetwen.

Yes I'd like to know which of these is most accurate too
-
Yep I agree, when I measure it out I'm usually very happy to see how much it is!

Little/No caffeine substitutes (like Cafix or decaf instant coffee) helped me get through the withdrawal and struggle to drop caffeine. I still like to imagine I'm having coffee but my body just doesn't need the jitters.

Yes! I have made the spice cake with canned pumpkin muffins too!!! So easy and so good. I need to make this again.

You can always buy a $9 Zumba DVD at Walmart and practice first if you're nervous. Or even YouTube some basic Latin dance moves like salsa, meringue, cha-cha. It's so fun you barely think about how hard you're working! Some of the ladies let me use some baby-powder to put on the bottoms of their shoes so they can slide a…

Sometimes overtraining and under-eating cause constipation, possibly unrelated to your cycle? Are you eating in a deficit or at maintenance? Maybe try a diet break if ur eating at a calorie deficit? My digestion has slowed down the longer I've stayed in deficit, and eating at maintenance seems like it might be helping…

You rock that suit! I struggle to accept my legs/thighs but just think how much they do to get you around everyday! You're doing great!

I overheard my grandma telling my grandpa she thought I was getting chubby! Really grandma....? She'd say things like "you're big boned, and can carry some extra weight though". My grandma is not super thin herself lol!

Nobody mentioned getting your vitamin D, either from being in the sun or a D3 supplement. I find that this is a big factor for me personally.
-
Added you!

Made some beer-can chicken on the grill. Boiled some sweet potatoes, and had some shredded cabbage with vinegar/oil dressing. The veggies are the trick to feeling super full, personally. Vit C in cabbage, Vit A in the potatoes, protein in the meat. And my husband made the chicken!

The idea is that increasing fluids will increase blood volume and create more pressure inside the circulatory system. Obviously healthy kidneys will remove excess water, but if dehydration is a contributing factor, this should help. I'm not a dr... this is just a suggestion, of course. I also have fairly low BP from time…

I was thinking about calling it circuit training? And I was at 70% of my target heart rate (age 29, pulse140), so moderate/high intensity?
-
Yes! That's great. He'll most likely win. And I'll get even more motivation to try and beat him the next time lol!
-
I did ask him about it, and he defended it as a compliment. He would not even admit that it could be taken as anything less than 100% positive. Next time he goes for a run I'm gonna ask him his run-time and say he's getting "too fast"! Maybe the weird reverse-psychology feel of the statement will get under his skin and…
