Thank you! 3.7kgs as of this morning..... :) Awesome job yourself with the 7kgs!!!!! Congrats!!! Congrats!!! Congrats!!!! Mothers seem to be able to do open heart surgery without anaesthetic or scalpel! After my 3rd marriage collapsed and I was visiting my mother a few months later, I mentioned that I should start thinking…

There's a matter of having a life in amongst everything else ladies.... Between treat-fests and being laid low, we can just do what we can do on the rest of the days.... Keep your resolve and make the best choices whenever you are presented with options. SW: 90.2kg CW: 87.6kg GW: 85.2kg for this challenge, and overall 82kg…

Congrats @kdavid1987 !!!!! Fabulous effort

I use an Apple Watch and need to sync MFP on my phone for the data to transfer into MFP. If it's past midnight, it does NOT sync previous days, so I need to be mindful of late night entries. Where does Garmin store your activity? On your phone, itself, or the web? Depending on which one and your connectivity, that may be…

LOL.... You're starting where I want to end up!!! Great progress!

Yep, nice to have so many food items in the MFP database, but they are entered by John and Joan Citizen from who knows what source, and "verified" by Sam and Diane GoodSamaritan without them necessarily looking at any form of reference either. Also wines are basically sugar and they do not come with any nutritional labels.…

Thank you! I seem to go through waves of enjoying being hungry, and then of continually wanting to stuff my face even though I am not actually hungry! No limits that I know of. It's actually much more capable than the status portion of this site.

Current snapshot of my chart: Sad that I've slipped up on where I wanted to be, but it is what it is....

Woo Hoo to you Becca!!! Great going! My progress: SW: 90.2kg CW: 88.8kg 1.4kg down GW: 82.0kg (82.8kg = 25 BMI) I had a couple of guilty pleasures for my 60th birthday celebration with myself, so am pleased to still have had some shrinkage!

Every success in taking back control, and every strength in maintaining your resolve!

Woo Hoo in every way @kdavid1987 !!!! Congrats congrats congrats

Well done Heather! I applaud the prep and bring with mindset, but it is a shame that vegan is such a hard thing for mainstream catering to address. Apart from virtually all country areas in Australia being non-vegan-friendly, we also have quarantine areas which mean you can't transport various foods in/out without them…

Thank you kindly. Happy to create any charts for anyone who has has kept their numbers, or has premium and can download their data as CSV files. Just let me know....

Slow start for me, but I've just found this challenge today via Heather. Thanks @ahrengirl Love it!!!! Thanks for that chuckle! I'm picturing you tucking into a bag of trail mix Heather, whilst everyone else is tucking into their slabs of meat and wondering what your problem is! I live in the country and every meal seems…

G'day all, I'm Mike. Transitioned to full vegan (plus home grown free range eggs from time to time) at the start of the year from mainly vegetarian and whole foods. (I had been having a bit of chicken or fish once every week or so because that was 'expected' and I never questioned it!) My diet is now cruelty-free vegan and…

If you truly know why you want the change and you are committed to those reasons, then the rest will come more easily. If you are a bit wishy washy as to why you are starting the new lifestyle, then I'd suggest you get your reasons and commitment sorted first. After that, it is a matter of working on portion sizes and food…

Does your ex feel like a failure, or he's getting on with whatever comes next? It takes two to make a marriage work, and if he was NOT bringing it into the marriage, there is no way you could ever make it work by yourself! Don't own any "failure" as the ex is probably equally or even more to blame. If he told you that it…

Thanks @usmcmp I basically agree, but I'm cutting rather heavily and believe I am overdoing it on the exercise at the moment. I'd like to believe that I can reduce my daily burn and do more leisurely activities like beach combing rather than sweating buckets in a gym every day. I'm fine with keeping my kcal intake much…

I'm transitioning to vegan (have a small amount of honey, some milk powder, and a couple of blocks of pure butter to go before there's no more animal product in the house). Been mainly vegetarian for the last few years, but had been having a bit of chicken or tin of fish a couple of times a week because I was told all my…

Awesome resolve and realisation that life IS actually maintenance mode! Fabulous results. Looking fit, healthy and wonderful!

Wow! Great job!

Any of you want someone else in your cheer squad? I'm about to leave my 50's, so maybe I need to find the geriatric section?! :p I'm about halfway through my shrink process, and I found that the community here gave such a boost to my own convictions. Add me if you like....

Am I the only person who "just gets into it"? I basically meditate and just focus on my inner self. My tracker taps me on the wrist when I've got to the time or burn that I'd set....

There are both nice and ugly people most places you go. Hopefully the nearby gym has more nice people than ugly ones, and the nice ones will support and encourage you on your journey to bulk up. I wish you well in your endeavours, and try to be kind to yourself! The stupid people that tease and bully are the problem, NOT…

Ummmm 2 pounds over two weeks is still good progress! My scales bounce around all over the place, but the trend is generally downward, so that is fine! Figure out if you are just after some sort of "quick fix", or you are serious about getting healthy. Weigh loss is 80% to do with what you put in your mouth, and not all…

Add a bunch of folk here as friends. The auto-statuses that get posted by MFP (plus any status and update pics you manually post) get a bit of interaction from those friends. The friends here can help with usually positive motivation, and if you share your food/exercise diary, they can make suggestions about your food and…
