THIS. I had a guy try to sell me ketones at the farmer's market the other day. He was twice my size.

He has turned into Bradley Cooper in 4 months. Good work! Your arm tat is awesome.

It's time to get in shape when I can squish my tummy fat and make my stomach talk to my 2-year-old son. Fun, but rather alarming.

@clh72569 This made me chuckle. I have a friend who is of Chinese descent, but a couple generations back as well. Born in Canada, her parents born in Canada. She's at my house, and my "I'm so worldly and travelled" niece goes "So, where are you from?" and this lady replies "Canada." My niece, not taking the hint, asks…

Me too. They sit heavy in my stomach and don't digest for hours. Now bring me a muffin, on the other hand...

Welcome back. You've been through the ringer, but have taken the first step in coming back toward your own happiness :) Add me if you want support, and remember that every choice you make is another step toward success.

This made me chuckle. My first thought was "You read Outlander at 12? A bit racy?" and then remembered I was reading Stephen King by then. Just as bad. Oops :/

Actually, your own profile says you have trouble having fun and doing things at your weight. "Always enjoyed being outside and active but struggles over the last few years packed on the pounds. Time to get back to having fun and need the body in shape to do so." You may not be in as bad shape as some, depending on your…

My mom is a chocolate fiend and has found that watermelon curbs her chocolate cravings. No idea why. Just bring some watermelon, doesn't need refrigeration, and eat during the day.

Why did you have to make a new account?

I was a late joiner to the last Term, and boy it is SO much fun! It includes eating, exercise, and other lifestyle challenges. I really loved bringing some interest to this daily slog we call 'getting healthy'.

Literally the only time I ever notice or watch people at the gym is when they are being rude, loud or twits about how the etiquette goes. N00bs are a different story, as they don't yet know how to do (or not do) things nicely. I know what you mean though, I started out thinking the same thing, that everyone was watching…

Please make the change ASAP. My mom drank tons and tons of Pepsi through her adult life and now has liver problems because of it. That amount of sugar is not good for you, and the damage may or may not be reversible depending on what it does to you.

Each of those things has an amazing purpose. Watch some Youtube videos on how to use each kind and the best way to get your bang for your buck when it comes to calories burned. I'd kill to have that much at my disposal.

Hi Amy :) Welcome. You're right, you only get one. We're all working to improve in so many different ways! Feel free to add if you want support :)

If you think about it, if this is true, what are you eating when you do eat that is so high in calories that you gained any weight you have to lose? None of us got here by not eating, unless they have a medical disorder. Start logging every single thing that goes in your mouth, honestly and realistically, drink lots of…

If you work a job where you have desk drawers and even a fridge, life can be amazing. The desk drawers allow quick snack storage like nuts, etc., and the fridge opens up even more possibilities. Having healthy, quick snacks in my drawer keeps me from eating out as I work downtown and food is EVERYWHERE!

Mini goals are the way to go. It makes the long-game so much more attainable.

I met my husband on World of Warcraft :)

You know, I'm not a generally fan of facial hair, but yours is nicely trimmed. I like it.

I bet it's something transparent.

^^ This. My coworkers: "Try this Kombucha, it tastes just like grape and will change your life!" ... They had me until I got a disgusting slimy piece of what looks like pond scum in my mouth. ICK! Never again.
