Sometimes i barely net 1200. Ive had my fitbit since day 1 so im fairly certain its counting my steps correctly. Im just baffled at how the body works. I guess I will reevaluate after my vacation in a few weeks. Thanks for the replies

Thanks for your reply. I weigh myself every Wednesday morning. I am about 30 lbs from my goal. Yes the fast food is normal lately. I need to get a handle on it. I normally will skip a meal or snack if I had a fast food meal that day. I am using a food scale. Not religiously as I was. I do weight out my peanut butter once…

I just recently fell in love with roasted garlic hummus. 4 tablespoons was 170 calories and I paired it with 85g of baby carrots and 22g of veggie crackers. Great healthy fats and protein and I am actually satisfied. 270 calories for lunch and I can have a treat if I want. (Im on 1500 but tend to only net between 1200-1300)

Lost 50# on 1500 in 5 months. 5'5" started at 245.

recipe builder will be your best friend. so is "my foods". When I go to PitaPit, I can add my pita into their builder on their site with all the macros. I then copied this info to "my foods". Usually the same with taco tuesday and a bunch of other weekly meals that dont change for the most part. Obviously the accuracy isnt…

Still trying to figure this out. My steps are just from daily errands. Groceries, shopping etc. Definitely no fat burning calories. Its a snails pace. So I guess even though I can end my day around 10k steps its not "Active" enough to push it to lightly active?
-
That's what I figured. I will just leave it alone. I don't even touch those exercise calories. I just aim for the 1500 calories.
-
Yes I am losing at a rate I am happy with. Just seeing such a high amount of extra calories for such little effort is concerning. In case I wanted to eat them I want to make sure it's safe to do so. I am not logging the walking as exercise. It's just my adjustment and I have negative turned on so I at least need to have 3k…
-
No. I aim for 8k and usually end the day between 10k and 12k because I make the effort to get the 8k before 11am.
-
Yes but I have about 80 lbs to lose so it's not that unheard of. Now it's around 1.5 a week like it's set for. No workouts. Just fitbit. So I guess I can safely eat most of these "exercise" calories? I'd love a bigger breakfast but I hate not having that large dinner. I tend to keep lunch and dinner 500 to 600.
-
Oh I am. 40 lbs in 3 months. I'm just worried about losing muscle mass.
-
So should I lower protein macro? I just want more protein because I am not currently weightlifting or going to the gym so don't want to lose muscle mass. Only cardio is walking.
-
No gym at all. Just fitbit. Between 8k and 10k steps 5 days a week I'm eating 2 pepperoni sticks at 220 calories and 12g protein and 30g of cheese at 110 calories and 7g protein. 1400 in food but 800 in "exercise" calories ie fitbit. If I know I will at least get my 500 exercise cals in my 8k steps should I plan on eating…

The coffee keeps me fullish. A lot of it is that I'm still too scared to overeat even though I know it fits in my day. I'm not busy at all. I have my coffee then head out your get my 8k steps before lunch. Eat lunch. Pick up kiddo from school. Housework. Dinner. Relax before his bed time. I could snack between lunch and…

I think so. I have a heavy dinner so no need for snacking. The morning coffee keeps me satiated oddly until lunch. I can't do Greek yogurt. I tried and it leaves a gross aftertaste. Right now according to my libra I'm. At a 750 a day deficit. I do have some pepperoni sticks I could eat and some cheese? 100 calorie a stick…

I try to net 1200 but it's usually around 1000 and yes I know this is bad. I usually end the week at 5k calories UNDER goal. Iv3 had my fitbit for 3 months. Set both at sedentary. I guess it's safe to eat more than the 50% exercise calories from my steps. Diary is open.

wow its so big lol
-
This is from last week but I think my macros were a bit higher 40/30/30 if i recall.
-
I use Libra because I'm android but this has saved my sanity. I don't log progress in mfp unless the number has gone down for the week and stayed down a few days. Although yesterday I was up 1.5 and then down the 1.5 this morning. So weird lol
-
Yep. No f×#ks given today haha. I've been doing good so I'm going to enjoy my ham and mashed and corn with bacon and buns with butter and the apple pie and get back to it tomorrow. Yolo? Happy Easter!

I had 1200 calories to work with. I think I'm ok then based on making one at home. I just used a higher calorie wrap (usually 180 to 200 for the larger ones) I estimated higher on the cheese and logged 40cals for oil. Thanks. I'm sure I'm not over 1200 with it lol
-
Sorry. I'm at a restaurant. Mom and pop shop do no nutritional information.
-
Garden salad with balsamic side. Whole meal comes in around 600.
-
I have a somewhat lower calorie sloppy Joe recipe that's delicious. From scratch ;)

I don't snack. A lot of this is mental. I'm scared to overeat even though I KNOW I'm fine. Been losing consistently 2 lbs a week. I guess I could have a smoothie as a mid morning snack. I just like basic strawberry banana and it's pretty low cal. I'm just so full. Breakfast coffee was at 1030 Lunch at 130 Dinner at 530.…

I have my fitbit synced. I've had it for about 5 weeks so I'm confident it's somewhat accurate. I only eat back 50% exercise calories. I always leave 200 calories at the end of day for inaccuracies in logging (if I didn't log the oil etc). Today is 1500 -976+590. B: 50 cals L: 205 Dinner: 700 approx.
-
Ugh yes. I decided that after 5 weeks I was going to reward myself with 1. It so was not even worth it. Definitely not as satisfying anymore.
-
I did log it dry. Thanks. I was concerned I just ate like 700 calories in pasta lol
-
So I just decided to put it in a 1/2 cup and measure it out in grams so I know going forward. It won't be 100% but oh well. Thanks guys!
