But what do you like to eat? Do you like to cook? It's hard to give suggestions without some information. I live in So California, so my suggestions may not work for you.

Before you committed to losing weight, what did you like to eat? Couldn't you eat those same things but just less of it? That would make it pretty simple.

When I get a sweet tooth, I will grab a piece of fruit or a diet soda.

Yep, I have days like that too. As long as you have more good days than off days, you will be fine. It may take longer, but so what, you will still get to your goal.

I have a shoulder issue too. Get an opinion from your doctor first. PT is a better route than surgery. Surgery should be the last resort.

I do IF for the simple reason of keeping my calorie intake at the right amount. I used to snack all day on healthy stuff, lol, but never lost weight. I started tracking my intake and I was seriously eating too many calories. Now I eat two big meals a day and I am full. Nothing special about IF. Fung is qwackers.

You can’t give up now, you just started. And then starting again, over and over, really sucks. You need to trust this process, it really does work. I can’t see you diary but as long as you are accurate with intake, you’ll be successful.

Are your calorie amounts okay? I go over my fat macros sometimes but in the end the calories are what matter.

Jane is right^^ I want to add to your thought, which is off base by the way, she is eating more than she thinks. OP, get a food scale and weigh everything you eat.

How are you struggling? Are you trying to lose weight? Give us stats? Height, weight, and goal weight?

Calories. Are you counting them? Weight lifting doesn’t burn very much in the way of calories.
