I have the same issue when I menstruate. I always gain a few pounds, but they go away within a day or two of my period ending. Hang in there and stick with what you're doing. It will pay off!

I can't remember the last time I read a magazine.

I workout at home because I encountered a similar issue last year. I hate crowds and that was the only thing I could think of as a work around.

That seems kind of low to me. I have an almost seven year old, and I remember doing so much running around at the baby phase.

I agree with what you are doing. I am someone who can become frustrated with the normal daily fluctuations of my weight. I usually weigh in weekly or every 10 days. If I weigh in more often I obsess over the number on the scale and not the multiple non scale victories I have accomplished. If that sounds like you, then I'd…

I focus on both, but I put more emphasis on my diet.

I apologize if this comes across as sexist, but some men (my bf included!) Are forgetful. They are also not mind readers. I think that your husband was forgetful about your diet, and I wouldnt hold it against him. That is just my experience though, it could be totally different. I just dont think he would want to sabotage…

Good job!

I think that 800 calories seems really low to me. I don't think that I'd be able to do it, but more power to those who do.

I could not agree with this more! Thank you for sharing that. It is normal to experience peaks and valleys in your weight loss. Don't let one day wreck all your progress. I'd keep the momentum going for sure.

Please give it some time. There are so many reasons why your weight could be fluctuating that it's not even funny. I would wait a few weeks and you will see results. Stay consistent and drink plenty of water etc. You will lose weight!

I see nothing wrong with people wanting to feel comfortable in their own skin. I don't think we should put down anyone for that. Being overweight is not healthy, but neither is putting people down.

Nice work!

I don't really agree with the YouTube people. I gained weight by eating that way, and I've been successful losing weight by logging calories. I don't enjoy calorie counting, but I have to do that in order to achieve my goals. If the intuitive eating works for them, great! However, for the vast majority it is not feasible.

This exactly, but the time varies depending on when I wake up.

Walking like others have stated is a great starting point. I'd recommend fitness blender on YouTube for yoga videos. If you go to their website fitnessblender.com, they also have a lot of quick and easy low impact beginner exercises.

I listen to a lot of classic rock and old school hip hop. I like acdc "you shook me all night long," "panama" by van halen, " wanna be a baller," eazy-e "boyz in da hood," "sweet child 'o mine", "girls girls girls." Those are a few that come to mind right away. I realize I have a 60 year old man taste in music. My bf…

I second this. I have been using fitnessblender workouts for years, and they truly are the best.

I would definitely recommend fitness blender or joanna soh.

You are so inspiring! Great job crushing your goals. I know you'll make it to your 10k goal soon.

I don't have a run to post, but I do want to say nice job for kicking butt and continuing to push yourself. The fact that you pushed yourself to finish says more than anything. Great job!
