I'd love that, thank you!

This is great advice. I turn it into a game. Logging meals and logging exercise. I can see where the obsession could begin to be a bit of a problem.

I wish I loved running. I love to hate running, and I don't know why. I don't know if that's an acquired exercise use and maybe the more I did it the more I'd like it, I just can't. I opt for the HIIT precor ellipticals, cycling and the rower. I envy you marathon runners, I really do!

Wait, 73 HOURS a week?!
-
Damn girl, good for you! I'd love to know what that meal regimen is. Trying to find different things that hold my energy after a high intensity cardio session can be a challenge.

No cardio isn't even an option for me. I have such bad family history of heart disease I don't want that to be my demise. My dad had an 8 vessel bypass back in 09. I work in a cardiac ICU and even I have never seen a bypass with that many vessels. I'd love to skip the cardio, but I know how amazing I feel afterwards and…

There are just so many different variations when it comes to how people adjust their cardio, lifting and diet. I know it's going to be about what works well for me. Right now I'm just trying to get ideas so I know exactly what that is. I'm having a hard time trying to find some consistency in that I guess. I log my meals,…

Uhh, I'm pretty sure I'd be a 'cardio kitten' too if they offered a hip hop cycling class here!! That's bad *kitten*!!
-
Thank you, I appreciate that. I feel like my body has a long way to go to get it to where I want it. I definitely won't be waiting on lifting lol

I don't think I'd survive on as little as 1200 calories a day. After all the research I've done, I definitely understand that putting my body into starve mode will do little to nothing for me if I want to achieve fat loss and muscle gain. Sometimes I have to force myself to eat or gag down my protein, but I do it because I…

She looks amazing!

That's amazing, good for her! I'd like to take alot of this advice and maintain the muscle I have while continuing to lose fat and eat at my target macros for the day. I need more patience in my life and on this journey. My motivation definitely comes from my monthly progress pictures where I can actually see where the…

And where might one find such a structured plan? lol

I rotate certain parts daily. So today was chest. Bench 3 sets multiple reps, incline 3 sets multiple reps, decline 3 sets multiple reps, bench dumbbell 3 sets multiple reps, and so on targeting different body parts daily.
-
I do 45 minutes of moderate/high intensity cardio and then go back a few hours later and lift for about an hour, daily.

When I initially set up my account, I set it to lose 2 lbs per week. Since then, I have only manually entered my daily macros goal. I'm allowed a little over 1900 calories and after working out, I'm struggling to meet that intake because I'm either full or there's not enough hours in the day!
-
Ohhh okay. I'm struggling to meet that as it is...
-
What does that mean exactly? To "eat in a deficit"?
-
So you're saying continue lifting just to maintain muscle mass and continue my regular cardio? My protein is set at 40%

Great article. I had actually just mentioned this to my fiancé today. About maybe putting lifting on hold until I got down to a comfortable weight. Maybe just focusing on cutting fat and then focusing on toning once I'm at a decent weight.
