When I maintained, I just didn't count calories. I was able to keep my weight within a few pounds, just never lost any. So when I decided to lose a little more weight, I started counting calories again. But I don't eat any differently, except for the period I went vegan. I just make sure to weigh myself regularly when…

They even have a calculator on their site where you can customize to your liking and see exactly how many calories you will get. It's nice to see. I would go for personal pan size, with a lot of veggies, and it will probably be within range. Sometimes I get without cheese, but with extra sauce and all the veggies to save a…

I've done many things, but my weight loss has always come from counting calories. Everything else (vegetarian, vegan, no processed food, etc.), I was just able to maintain without counting calories (which has been fine for a while, I'm at a healthy enough weight, I'm just ready to lose the last little bit). I do yoga and…

There will be many, many more of these coming at you. Be prepared. Or at least, take notes, research, and then counteract. Or be open to actually learning something new. At least, that's what I do. Maybe I'm a nerd. Also, there's a lot of websites with "facts" that aren't really evidence based, or very loosely evidence…

It's all been positive. My grandpa and father, both who are feeders, would comment that I will blow away in the wind, but not in a negative way. I still eat well, and everyone knew I wasn't very healthy before losing weight. And I agree that a lot of people want to know the secret to my weight loss. It gets a little old…

For me, I have to make sure I'm not over-restricting. I eat what I want through the week and it makes it easier to stay on track on the weekends (I do still try to balance out the "junk" with healthy, nutrition dense foods). I also try to stay active - hiking, biking, or walking around town - so that I don't lay in bed or…

Getting into the 160s and STAYING. Haha. I've been maintaining for a while, up and down in the high 160s and low 170s, and I'm finally ready (I think) to lose the rest of my weight. 150 was my goal weight from the beginning, I'm kind of curious to see where I'll be when I lose the rest of my tummy fat. Also, flexibility…

I've been totally lazy lately and looking more into frozen and pre-cooked foods. I found these steamer bags of veggies, by Green Giant, and they come with sauce or seasoning already on them. Cheesy broccoli and rice I can just pop in the microwave for a few minutes? Yes, please! They're so good, too. Also been into buying…

What they said! The adjustment will be different depending on how much total activity you've had and also depending on where your activity level is set. It adjusts all through the day as you sync, rather than adding for each specific activity. I have always went by my fitbit calorie adjustment with no problem (eating back…

Took me about a year and a half to lose 140 pounds. Been maintaining for maybe that long, maybe less, I can't really remember. Have 20 ish more pounds I would like to lose now so I started counting again.

Have a friend at church that her and her daughter did weight watchers off an on. They lost weight and gained it back once they quit. I lost 140 pounds and maintained even without counting calories. I'm back to finish losing the weight (I've been at a healthy BMI but I've got some tummy fat left).
