My current workouts: I work full time and have 3 kids and have always struggled to make myself and my fitness a priority. I'm learning (slowly) how to change that. During my work day, I take 1-2 7 minute walks down the street and back to get away from my desk. I've also started finding little moments during my day to get…

Started at 218.4 so 138.4 would an 80 pound loss and put me into a healthy BMI with some wiggle room before reaching an overweight BMI. Right now, my goal is just lose 50 lbs then reassess. Almost halfway to my first goal. I don't know what my UGW will be until I get much closer to it. For now, I just want to keep seeing…

Feel free to add me. I've been logging daily since January 12 and hit 20.2 lbs lost yesterday. I'd like to lose 50, then reassess and probably another 10-30, depending on how I feel and look. Having friends on MFP definitely helps with motivation and encouragement. Good luck, everyone! Btw, had some health issues that were…

Thanks for everyone sharing their experiences and offering advice. I finally decided on what was best for me at this stage in life and got the Paragard. I'm excited for no hormones!

My husband might *hopefully* think like yours.

I am spoiled on the pill. I have a very short light period for 3-5 days once a month like clockwork. I can almost time it to the hour when it starts. It's that stable every month. And when I stopped taking it to have my 3 pregnancies, I was pregnant in the first 1-2 months after. I think we will have to sit down and have a…

haha. Yeah, child birth is awesome, huh? lol. I had a c section and then 2 VBAC'S. Gained 10 pounds my last 2 pregnancies and they weighed 9lb 5oz and 9lb 8oz each. Women are tough. That's been the discussion lately. My risk of stroke versus his nerves getting a vasectomy. He of course doesn't want anything bad to happen…

We aren't planning on having any more kids but it's not set in stone quite yet. If he did agree to a vasectomy, we would be at the point where we know that we are for sure done.
-
Good to know. Thanks! This decision is so tough....
-
Yikes! Glad you are ok!!! I was leaning towards Paragard because it has no hormones but all the risks freak me out! I just have no clue what to do but know I don't want to possibly have a stroke because of the pill. I think I'll try talking to my husband more about a vasectomy but the whole thing freaks him out, even…

I would prefer that my husband just get a vasectomy but, as of now, he's resisting pretty strongly. lol

Ugh. I hate when that happens too. The scale will go up 4 pounds for me when I eat Chinese food, even a small amount, but will go back down in 2 days or so. It's still frustrating though.

Hey everyone. I'm 5'4", 32 y/o married mom of 3. I started logging on MFP January 12 and was 218.4. Currently I'm at 204.2, down 14.2. Trying not to be frustrated that I've been bouncing around 14-16 lbs lost but I always gain before that time of the month. My first goal is seeing Onederland again (so close!). My next goal…

You look wonderful and SO happy! Congrats!

Thanks for the protein advice. I think that will help a lot. Also, I guess I should have added I've been trying to get in more walking. So far, 2-3 times a week 1-2 miles solo or pushing kids in stroller. Also, trying to work in some lunges and squats etc. throughout the day. Hopefully with time I would like a more solid…

Thanks. I've always struggled with protein. I'm lucky if I can reach my goal twice a week. I was never a vegetarian when I was younger but I could go weeks with out meat happily. My issue with fish is I just have really never ate it. Would kind would you recommend? Growing up the daughter of an Iowa farmer, we just never…
