  • Yeah don't worry about that, if I stop going to the gym for a while a start again I can gain almost 5 lbs in the first week, it will go away eventually and it's not fat :) So don't worry about it.
  • Being on a weight loss journey for a while so I have 20 left to lose, feel welcome to add me as a friend!
  • You can also check out the Youtuber Natacha Océane, I won't put any link not to sound like scam or promotion but she posts a lot of content on her chanel about how to get leaner and gain muscle mass, and she has a video of her burnig calories with 1 hour of cardio vs 1 hour of weight training for comparison.
  • That's the thing, if you want to define the muscle on your thighs you'll want to have less fat covering them, therefore the ''calorie deficit'' answer above. There is no (according to my humble opinion) exercice that will burn the fat specifically on a part of your body, fat loss is distributed evenly on all the body,…
  • I feel you, I am a big eater and now especially after the holidays and indulging in all the fatty and sweet food I seem to have huge cravings now! What I do is that if I have no more calories left to eat I'll take 2 big glasses of water to fill me up (plus sometimes you think you're hungry when actually you're just…
  • I once ended a date because the guy insisted for paying for both of our drinks (so far, nothing wrong with a nice gesture) but I was politely insisting too because I was the one who ordered them since I arrived first at the bar, so I felt like I should treat him. Then the guy said ''No I don't want you to pay because…
  • So we are tomorrow and I still kept my 1kg off. I am planing to hit the gym today and lift a little + run 5k so we'll see tomorrow if I am heavier! Edited: Yesterday I went to a pool party and ate in a surplus again, lots of vodka and samosa/tempura shrimps. Maybe it's a sign from destiny that the 1kg is still off this…
  • So based on the general trend, should I understand that I simply have a tendency to retain water? Is it normal retention or does losing 1 kg after one night of (mild?) drinking is a sign of too much retention? I don't salt my dishes but I eat a lot of premade soup which I know are the absolute sodium-devil.
  • I've been a long way! :D
  • From May 2016 to March 2017, cut down the alcohol a bit and starting jogging and counting calories.
  • Squat Butts are real as long as you don't expect crazy instagram results. I saw this really small change in 6 months of squatting + rear kicks + the behind-the-thigh musculation machine. If somebody here have the real names, I will gladly learn and sound less lame  PS: a lot of running, I lost about 10 pounds…
  • Same here, you can see parts of my ribs and collarbones but I still got a nice little tummy giggling around when I run. I guess it's part of the perks of being a woman
  • Nobody asked if you were eating like a cow OP. What is true however, is that the topic of eating too much indeed seemed to be a common question from people taking their time trying to help and advise you. Instead of taking it as an insult or as a way to call you a liar on your food intake, I suggest that you drop the…
  • As for me personally, the best results I've seen in my weight loss is when I started adding around 10% to my calories eaten and substracted around 10% of my calories burned. Not saying it is THE way to go but I started losing a pound or two a week since.
  • I don't think I can say that I became more ''attractive'' because it is not just about how your body looks, but I would say that I definitely look happier and healthier, which can make a difference, I guess?
  • What I found out with HIIT is while, for example, a 10 minutes running session with HIIT would burn LESS calories than a 10 minutes running session at random % inclines, HIIT training would help me get better with my regular running. For example, if I can run 25-30 minutes without stopping at a speed of 9.5km/H and then…
  • Hey, I'm not a professional and I usually train every other day at the gym (average working out rookie). I started doing squats (3 x 20 rep with 10kg, then over time I switched 2 x 25 with 20 kg). I am a very curvy woman (measurements are 39-26-40 inches) so my butt has always been quite big BUT while it did not get bigger…
  • Cracks - flux pavillion Tuesday - Burak Yeter Spaceman - Hardwell Arcade - Dimitri Vegas ...or some really heavy metal with a good punch like Lamb of God, Hatebreed, etc. That's my wild side.
  • kj = kilojoules and kcal = kilocalories. 1990 kilojoules = 475 kcal for 100 grams, if you divide by 5 (because you ate 20 grams) it would make it 95 kcal for a pack. You can breathe now, heheh, you were right about the calorie content. Sometimes the entries in MFP are off, it is always good to check on the label…
  • I feel like by the end of the day, alot of people are going to deem you their heroine on this thread
  • I like to switch so I don't get bored as quickly and I get to work different parts of my body. I can do 25-30 mins of elliptical at varied levels, then going for a 10 mins fast run on the treadmill, on another workout I will do 15-20 mins on the treadmill at a comfortable running pace, then 10 minutes HIIT and 10 minutes…
  • I think there may be a mistake in that loggin, 1 cup of strawberries is around 45-55 calories. Good news for you!
  • From 220 when I was younger teen to 135lb now, 80% by calorie deficit and 20% running + weights.
  • I feel like some people have good intentions and are just worried about the possibility of you starting an eating disorder. It is not uncommon (not saying that it is common either) for people who achieve a drastic weight loss to have some kind of eating disorder or to develop some kind of unhealthy relationship with food…
  • I don't have any sources to back me up because it was a long time ago and I'm wayyyy too lazy to dig that up, but when I was doing my license I once stumbled accross a scientific research that did indeed find out that this component of the raspberry was linked to weight loss, HOWEVER, I remember reading that the quantity…
  • You look very fit! It's the kind of physique that would impress me in a personal trainer because even if this is not what I aim for (personally), I know the level of hard work, knowledge, technique and dedication it takes to get there, so it would make me confident that you really know what you are doing and what I should…
  • As everyone says, people have different tastes and you know, there are a lot of bigger women getting dates and even modelling nowadays. I suggest that you put your most confident headshot pictures on your profile, then add a full-body pic at last. You may feel intimidated to do so, but at least you will know that 1. what…
  • Sooooo I brought up all my courage and went to the gym to ask for a trainer and some technique tips. Trainer looked at me for a second and said they did not have a Rowing machine there. Went to the treadmill. :s
  • Dear, 1lb of everything is equal to 1lb of everything, you know  But muscles are heavier than fat, which was my point, never talked about lbs.
